EXACTLY!!!! i kinda get tired of hearing the cream comment.If im being honest, as much as i love the cream stuff he reached that level in the 90s thats most cant even dream of.He perfected his craft no doubt!

Clapton didn't have drug usage to contend with, as he did in the 1960s, and his playing seems more precise.

Thanks for all the work that went in to this.. Spot ON !! What playing, I'm gobsmacked.. I believe this was recorded during the "Nothin' But The Blues Tour" I saw it at The Old Omni in Atlanta Georgia.. 2 and a half hours of sheer bliss, I didn't want that concert to end.

What a life and talent beyond measure. One thing I hate to see are his drug and/or alcohol influenced performances. He looks pained and it's hard to watch when he's like this.

Stratocaster. It's clear when he drops the volume as to what instrument it is.

White strat, Lace sensor pick ups, TBX tone control and +25db boost knob through a tweed, probably his cornell amp with tone tubby hemp speakers - or a Fender Tweed twin that he had fettled by Dumble.
