Thankful I'm still living and still have my sight and hearing enabling me to enjoy yet another rendition of our National Anthem.

I have listened to this over the years and still the best rendition ever. This duo will not be outdone. The man who did the sign language inspired me to learn to do the Anthem in sign language. I can't watch it enough. I can't put into words, how wonderful this is. I hope you enjoyed it as much as me.

I saw Jazminee Sullivan on The Tamera Hall Show today. I had to listen for my- self because I didn't watch the Super Bowl. I felt chill bumps all over my body with Jazmine performance that was "OUTSTANDING" I cried after that performance because I felt Jazmine soulful voice and flavor made this song to be desired to hearagain. You " SANG THAT SONG" and your PIPES BLEW MY MIND. I'm sure that Whitney Houston was with your spiritually. I too a Whitney fan and also a Jasmine Sullivan fan. I believe you've made your family, friends, fans and America proud of your performance. May God Bless You Jasmine. ❤

No disrespect , but I didn't comment on the country singer Eric Church. I felt they both together did an awesome rendition to the National Anthem. I believe it made a memorable moment since the performance when Whitney Houston did it. I'm not into country music, but I would purchase that performance. Bith did a great job.

Yeah Eric Church is a top tier country artist, and DAMN yeah did that girl have some pipes, I just think sometimes people get lost in creating runs (singing wise) and trying to go so hard with making it something “special” that they lose certain parts of the original national anthem, if that makes sense. But everyone has their own rendition and thts what’s great about music.. so then again what am I talking about here!! 😂😂

Yet she’s singing over Church’s Springsteen styled arrangement on guitar…as he brings a little heart & soul from Carolina to kick it off before she does her thing. Reality- Two outsiders, a bit misunderstood in their own right…came together and knocked the lid off what any Top 40 radio artist would do. Without him there, it’s just another great singer belting out the National Anthem. And one more thing… Please respect the Chief. 😎

This song is the tune of an old English drinking song. Some folks act like it was lovingly written for the poem that Key wrote. LOL

Its not a singing competition. They both brought out a different element from the anthem. This country bluesy soul version is unique TO THEM as a pair. Either is talented alone but the juxtaposition of the two elevated the song.

I don't know why the NFL insists on requiring the players to be on the field. Whether you like it or not, most are focused on the game and what they have to do in the next couple of hours, not the National Anthem. The camera crews try to find players who are being respectful to perpetuate the league's desire to make the whole thing look like a Norman Rockwell painting. Unfortunately, as in this video, sometimes it doesn't work out too well. A few years back, I attended a hockey game where a Boston undergraduate team [well known] was playing against Army. As the National Anthem played with the teams lined up on their respective blue lines, the Boston team was moving in place, shuffling their skates back and forth on the ice, moving their sticks around, etc. The Army team - not a twitch. Army lost the game, but I certainly appreciated and admired their respect and discipline. Clearly people are physically capable of showing respect, they simply choose not to.

They might of over sung it a little, but I dont think.they meant to disrespect it at all. I enjoyed it, they put alot of effort into it and most important of all they were both honored to do it..people are getting so negative they dont know how to be kind..I give props to Eric and Jazmine you blew me away, your range so powerful!🤗😲❤

I usually don't like modernized versions of the Nation Anthem. BUT... This was stunning !! The BEST yet IMO. Beautiful blending of styles, along with that sunset flyover was really a class and inspiring presentation. Thanks for sharing this ! 🇺🇸

Sorry but not sorry I want an Anthem The reflects this day in age morale compass. “No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave, And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave”. Little history this poem was once called “The Defense of Fort M’Henery”. Why?? America was afraid of loosing their slaves and revolting. This particular battle was about retaining slaves from flipping sides because British had promised any all slaves that are able to free themselves would be granted freedom from slavery and rewarded with land for fighting with Britain. When you know the history behind something it can’t be looked the same. Perfect example if you had a perfect partner but one day his Skeletons in his closet came crashing out and you found out that your partner is a registered sex offender who’s been convicted for rape. You will not look at that person the same regardless of your affection. Especially when there’s a track record of sexual abuse.

Wow. That was an awesome rendition of the National Anthem. The guitar was pretty cool. Liked the purple jacket, too, and the contrast of voices. Soldiers watching from Kuwait. They musta had this heart race thing when they saw themselves on TV. Not the most exciting place in the world, but GREAT food and they have a red light district, I believe. Anyway. Missed this live, but STILL really exciting a day later to listen to.

Few if any will ever top Whitney Houston. Our National Anthem is not to just be performed but always to encourage others to sing along. You couldnt find the melody in this anywhere. With that said, many enjoyed it so congratulations to them.

Yes, thank you. In comments section of an official NFL video everybody thinks singing like this is great. US anthem is 1 minute 15 seconds long. This was 2 minutes and 33 seconds. Any great song would be ruined if it was sang twice as slow than it should be sang. These stars don't sing their own songs like this, but when it comes to national anthem, everybody's competing who's going to butcher it more.
