Eric Cantona’s time in the Premier League was nothing short of inconic.
He fled to the Premier League after continuously getting into trouble in his home country.
Leeds United was the original destination but Old Trafford and Manchester United was his destiny.
In 5 years at United, Cantona won 4 league titles and 2 FA Cups.
I believe he altered the course of English Football forever.
There was of course controversy along the way, but in this video we explore why I believe he was the Premier League’s greatest ever signing.

I was a teenager then playing for my local club. We were dead chuffed when we got a new kit with a collar so we could open it like Cantona 😆
the crowd pop when he returned onto the pitch after the ban is so amazing.

Cantona: 4 premier league titles in 5 years A title in ever season he completed 125 premier league goals/assists in 156 games, a ratio of one G/A every 1.2 games, the 7th all time in premier league history, behind Haaland, Henry, Suarez, Salah, Aguero & Kane. One of the craziest stats about Eric, during his time at United, he assisted 20 of the 37 outfield players he ever played with, 54%! That is insane. And the 17 he didn’t assist, 13-14 if them barely played a full game with Eric; Clayton Blackmore, Chris Casper, William Prunier, John O’Kane, Colin McKee, etc.
