Superb. Reminds me a little of Mississippi John Hurt . Lovely 👌

true... very close to 'make me a pallet on your floor', but without the low E change.
What an amazing and generous man is Eric Bibb
Keeping the old school blues alive. Beautiful stuff. Love it.👍
The one and only!! I love his music and the way he plays!!! Pure blues, man!!
2:40 "You kind'a have ta roll it... ... the music should flow; like it doesn't have barlines." Genius. My classical guitar teacher said petty much this same thing.
Thank you Eric. I’ve always loved your music ever since I purchased my first album of yours in the 80s that you did in Sweden
Wow - you make it look so simple ... 🥰
Lovely stuff.
I discovered this dude on the t.v back in 2000 and immediately bought a cd
Killer playing
Wowza. What a lovely guy with chops to boot.
absolutely amazing playing
Splendid man ❤️✨
I like your style friend .. very original and I'm watching your videos to learn a bit of blues. it is wonderful
So beautiful!
Love it, beautiful.
Great advise! Always learning new skills. Thanks for sharing.
He speaks so passionately and beautifully
That was absolutely great!! What a lesson. Start simple. Then… Get it to roll. “Little curley cues come with time. Thank you!
Sweet ! Thanks Eric
Beautiful 👌
Thanks for the lesson!
Smooth
Stellar.
Thank you.
Good lesson, E! It’s so strange, when you play that “style” of fingerpicking, you don’t think about it, your fingers automatically know where they’re going and what to do. However, when you try to teach said “style” to another player, you really have to think about how to relay that information in such a way that they can process it, let alone understand it, without confusing the hell out of them, which is very easy to do 😂 The late, great and sorely missed Tony Joe White (along with John Fogerty - yes, I know John’s still living in the Swamp 🤪) had his own inimitable “Swamp Style”, which, to replicate, requires an insane amount of practice, as it’s about feel, as much as technique. Nice one, man. Much love 🙂
Thank you for introducing me to Eric Bibb! I need to hear more of his music. This was so good! I also need to work on my finger picking, so this was a bonus.

@Zaiden Mayson no problem xD
I wish my father would have tought me this. He beat doc, chet, and travis into my head. That alternating bass never ever stop. If it did you were doing it wrong. In hindsight I appreciate it and how natural it has become. Man it.sure made learning a bitch tho. Edit: except for the 5. The 5 was where you could double up
The guitar picking can be learned, his amazing singing voice is harder to copy…
Can't tell what that guitar is......it's a great sounding guitar.
