LOL. i find this post funny. this performance was a short stop [we only sang 2 songs] on our way to the ferry boat that will take us to buenos aires. we were in our travel uniform but decided not to take off our jackets because the church was just too cold. it was wintertime in uruguay at the time.

I remember this at the Eurovision a long long time ago was sung at a more upbeat tempo, it was so good then but this version felt like the hand of God reached into my chest gently pulled out my soul, cleansed it of all that’s evil and placed it back in me. These angelic voices must sing for Pope Francis!

My God, this performance should have been performed and heard on the world stage. It is otherworldly! I was listening with my headphone on full blast! Eargasm!

her voice was kept until almost halfway thru, she happened to be smallest girl there and still hidden behind the lectern, they must've been surprised with her sweet clear voice and searching for who it was coming from..

One of the most beautiful songs ever written, no doubt it comes from the heart of God. Close your eyes and you feel His presence. This performance is amazing.

Singing is apparently a part of our culture. We feel good when we indulge in music whatever genre it is. It's like a part of ourselves however "not all" can sing though but "most" can. Moreover, since most of the populace are able to, it's hard to climb at the top and only few really stand out. Edit: That's why filipinos are really hard to please that we just clap our hands and receiving a standing ovation from the crowd is something already.

This is awesome it's like listening to a fully equipped orchestra. For awhile I thought there is an instrument accompanying them. This is accapella! every nerve in my body is shaken by their beautiful rendition. Bravo (10x)!

8 years after first hearing this, I still go back and shed a tear or two after listening.

I just heard them here in Spain, it was amazing. This song is very normal for me, I been listening for my hole life but now every time I hear it I cry like a child, they found a way to reinvent this song and make it more beautiful then it was already. Bravo!

You're lucky. I'm even in the same city as them, but haven't yet heard of their performance in person.

At an Evening rest, one with my God, a moment to connect, adoring. Tears down my eyes acknowledge; humbly saying that I NEED Him for me to breathe in this world during this pandemic time.

I remember this pop song from when I was a child back in the 70s, it was popular even the Lettermen had a version of it! Brings back good memories of many people in my family when they were still alive including my mom and my elder brother. Which is probably why I cried towards the end after that glorious crescendo. Mabuhay Madrigal Singers! God truly has gifted you and, in turn, us with your angelic voices that continue to touch our souls.

I have been watching this since it was posted the first time... I still do... It's like the one good place you always want to come back to... Listening to this sublime performance makes me feel like I'm home... MADZ forever!

The audience reactions are all part of the charm of this video. A lot of people were singing along or had this constant smile on their face. That's not normal. You know this song means something to them. And the Madz delivered.

The people in the chapel were blessed that day...... chosen ... it was GOD singing to them via the choir....

The MADZ is the best in the world for chamber and choir music. World renowned. I always see them at the Abelardo Hall; in their room rehearsing. Thank you MADZ for the wonderful singing. They sing from the heart w/ much expression and longing. Their singing is like praying. This is what I admire the most!!! Kudos mga kababayan. A UPD graduate is an honor. To be with them is just like watching their great and magnificent concerts. I enjoy the free Th evening concerts at AH. Proud to be Pinoy!!! The best!!! Keep up the blessings MADZ. We got many great choir here in our country but Madrigal singers is one of the best we got.

though i dont understand the lyrics of the song but i can feel the emotion and the message in each word and its making me cry everytime i listen to this one. and im inlove again with life. thank you Madz.
