I just think that its unfair for the Madz and the UST Singers to be compared to each other in such a way that other people does..... I think they're actually friends,... both have their own great conductors and members......, lets keep this a healthy competition and continue to be inspired nalang instead of these non sense.... Anyway, I simply love this song too much...... sana makanta ko rin to sa future... :)

tama ka dyan. actually, nakakatawa yung mga nagkukumpara ng UST Singers at Madz. wala namang kompetisyon na nangyayari sa pagitan ng dalawang choir. sa katunayan, maganda ang relationship ng dalawang chorale groups na iyun. mga fans lang ang gumagawa ng competition na iyan. respeto na lang po sa tunog ng bawat choir dahil magkaiba pa rin shempre ang ideal na tunog na gusto ng kanilang mga conductor para sa respective choirs nila. kaya hindi talaga fair sabihin na mas magaling yung isa sa isa dahil sa bandang huli, merong mga tao na mas prefer yung tunog ng Singers kesa sa Madz and vice versa. ang importante, parehong nagdadala ng glory para sa bansa natin.

I dont know how some people express the comparison between those two choirs but its only natural and inivitable for people to compare them. People do have preferences and standards but if the other team obviously did it *great* then that only means that people also expect and recognize excellence. Besides, comparison is not bad. People likely did not ment to make it sound as compitition but its just that there is indeed a comparison. People by nature have this unquenching thirst for the greatest good or of the highest quality and value in everything - including music. I think regardless of how people express their observation.. we simply all have this desire to experience... as much as possible the greatest quality of good in everything. Which is why comparison serves the purpose of creating arts and music in its greatest and finest quality. That is why we call it a *- MASTERPIECE -*

She did in the last AOV Gala Concert yata or was that Magic and Miracles? Basta isa dyan but I think sa Magic and Miracles. She was awesome. 😍

Should stop comparing The Madz and UST, kasi parang iconic singers lang din sila.. May Nora Aunor, Sharon Cuneta, Pilita Corales, Pops Fernandez -- may iba-iba silang style. Kung pareho ng 'version' eh baka iisa lang yung arrangement ng piyesa -- BUT for sure, along the way -- may differences, kasi iba-iba din yung personality ng mga member and as performers lumalabas yun. Tsaka iilan lang ang choir groups sa Pilipinas tapos pagsasabungin pa. Huwag ganun, appreciate the talents nalang kasi, though, magagaling na singers anga mga Pilipino -- iilan lang ang nabibigyan ng opportunities na makapag-perform kaya support na lang -- para sa ekonomiya din naman yan.

ayaw kong maniwala na ginaya lang ng UST singers ang rendition at arrangement ng MADZ....makinis at pulido ang version ng MADZ,no one can beat the best.

+Restavit64 The songs can be sung by any choir kung may permission naman ng arranger or composer (depende sa pag-uusap... yung iba nga, binabayaran pa ang rights lalo na pag overseas ang composer). You can see naman na may similar songs na kinakanta ang dalawang choirs like "Go the Distance," "Veniki," o kaya "Riveder le Stelle." In the choral world, you see, hindi ibig sabihin na kapag kinanta na ng Madz, bawal na kantahin ng iba. Diba nga, Vision ni Ma'am Andrea Veneracion ang "Singing Philippines" so dito, hindi naman maramot ang Madz. USTS and Madz actually have a good relationship. (FYI, may joint force concert sila with PPO sa Peninsula noong Dec 2013) Of course, I like the Madz version better (we have our own opinions) pero parang medyo unfair na sabihing ginaya or nagkukumpitensiya sila. May mga kantang gusto kong kinakanta ng Madz, yung iba mas maganda sakin ang version ng UST. Each choir has its own ups and downs and each choir can be the best in its own right. Para sa musika. Mabuhay ang korong Pilipino.

No! This is not a concert or CD version. The concert or CD version of the UST Singers is the highest world-class.

Madz quality doesnt need to be CD or Concert version and they're still the best even others have done quality editing to their recorded sound ✌✌✌

This is an inbetween performance around a table, and it is still great. In all concerts they are the highest world-class in music. The CD version is on Soundcloud - also the highest world-class. The UST singers were the best music experience in my life. I don't need Madz, sorry.

Magaling din sila but mas better ang hataw ng Madz effortless. May times dito na maritimig mo ang struggles sa high notes eh
