Lots of potential absolutely but unfortunately very hated in the fanbase. They also parallels each other perfectly and actually ties the whole theme of the story. Their development is organic and genuine and they pretty much understood each other. Their bond is so mature and healthy. Too bad that even Historia's parallel with Ymir went absolutely nowhere and Isayama didn't get the same impression despite having said before that Historia was actually his favourite woman😢

No point in calling a character your favorite if you're not treating him/her as such, only happened with reiner To think there was even a time when most people EXCEPT MIKASA were relevant to the plot. Man, what popularity does to people is unbelievable

Never have i ever seen such an unbelievably written chemistry between a boy and a girl. Their relationship has so much to do with the main themes of the story, their relationship is so healthy and mature. That's such a strong bond between free people who are gonna put each other above the island and the world. If only they became a family...

I'll never forgive Isayama for not canonising them, especially after all the development, scenes, build-up, parallels and foreshadowing they both had received during AND after the Uprising Arc...

@@PedroLucas-mg5je it's even sadder erehisu is hated so much for no reason despite being the only aot "ship" that makes sense As their supporter, I'm frustrated I can't even find enough fanfics or comics about eh to enjoy them at least in fanon works. I always feel like I need more

Even Isayama himself will never convinve me with Erimika's love story, as someone who started watching AOT since its second release i always expected that Eren is gonna end up with Mikasa not as someone who loves her but just because of the years they spent together i mean as someone who appreciates her but seeing him dealing with Historia shows the real loving Eren, he even said to her "let's just run away" damn...
