Episode 5 investigates how women’s football is changing, both on and off the pitch. We hear from two of the breakout stars of Women's EURO, Jule Brand and Daphne van Domslaar, as well as Switzerland's Svenja Flomli and Iceland’s Sveindis Jonsdottir, to help give the perspective of the younger players, while German's Alex Popp sheds light on how the older generation see the development of the game.
EQUALS, a six-part documentary series putting viewers one-on-one with some of the top stars in the women's game like never before. The series examines the rapid rise of women's football across Europe as well as the challenges that remain, against the backdrop of a record-breaking UEFA Women's EURO 2022, which captivated audiences the world over. Each episode features a principal theme as players from all 16 teams that participated in Women's EURO 2022 candidly share their experiences and opinions and also discuss the road ahead for future development.
