Love these videos when they come out from Doctor Mix. Claudio is such a good influencer and he always makes me feel like I'm back in the UK hanging out with musos again. A bit different out here in the Canary Islands. Love it but no music shop comparable to the big ones in the UK where you could try out gear before buying it. I can almost smell the newness of stuff when it's unboxed here! Good fun to watch. Keep up the great work. Look forward to more.

Subtle and smooth, and looks well built. I happen to like clicky knobs. It's always going to be a niche unit of course - good for some tasty seasoning, but not the meat and potatoes in your stew. And at $2K USD, the average home studio is going to look for something more versatile, unless they are focused on mastering. Thanks for the demo! For now I'll stick to my SSL EQ's.

I have the Empress and the Dictator. I received the D first and am just blown away with how it takes harshness on Sequential synths. The Empress just completes the sound. I appreciate that together they seem expensive but I think if I had bought them sooner I probably would have saved money by buying less synths.

hey Doctor Mix, I can feel with you - hands on real existing gear is the real pleasure instead of software plugins... yes real gear needs space in studio instead of software needs only drivespace... but an gear in studio did normally harder to forget as an software plugin under hundreds of plugins you own. do not get me wrong, i love software plugins vst and so but i really love real hardware gear (19" devices) that I touch in real life not virtual...just pushing the button,...just turning the knobs... I LIKE!

great video! i have a question. why do u have to turn both of the knob (the left and right side)? what happen if u turn just one side of it? thanks!

@@someguystudios23 Yeah it's very likely 2-channel, in the microphone example he only used the left side (mono channel?) to eq.

Is this sharply alternating Lesliesque stereo effect internal to the Rhodes? I like the sound of the R but I find the effect "unnatural" and somewhat disturbing. Awesome EQ.

This is all well and good, however the real question relates to the design on the covers of your acoustic panels, are they in fact bar-codes taken from your favourite foods or perhaps the labels from whiskey, gin and various mixers? 🍷🍸🥃 PS Does Canford Audio still sell a 19" rack-mount wine rack? Well the Sennheiser sounded reaaaaly smooth :) But yes, you can get that smoothness nowadays. There are a ton of great vocoders out there ❤
