Hey Grafted Branch Homestead !!! Welcome to my channel !!! In a way I’ve done an update, I have videos of incubating eggs and chick hatching!! It’s been going good, the problem I have is with temperature controllers, they go out from time to time and I’ll loose a whole hatch of chicks, probably bc I’m constantly hatching eggs, I don’t give the controlling a break but when the controllers are working I’m hatching eggs.

@@HomesteadingCityStyle I went back to old school manual thermostats and got away from digital controllers, with the electric surges we get it seems to cook them and I lost 200 quail eggs when controllers relay stick on and then overheat.

@@BushCraftN4U Thanks for making this video! I've been checking out all the digital devices people recommend to keep a constant temperature, but cannot grasp how to set them. I can plug something into the wall but that's about it. Can you give us a brand name and/or model number of this thermostat that works so well for you? That is the only thing in my way of having an incubator. Thank you!
