Beautiful projects. I am in the middle of a Musselburgh hat. Have you seen the beautiful clasps that the Wooly Thistle is getting in for sweater closures - gorgeous!

I am so happy to see you! Again, all of your knitted things are beautiful. I like the different yarns you choose. Always a big variety. Your new sweater / cardigan is going to be so gorgeous! That color yarn and the kind of yarn will make it so nice. Can I ask what kind of work you do? I'm curious because it has you moving here and there, which means your husbands job has to let him move also. My cast on for 2022 is the Slipstravaganza by Stephen West. I am on the next to last chevron stripe and the rows are over 900 stitches each! I am slogging through it and I hope it's as beautiful as I imagine it to be when finished. I won't make it again, but it's been a joy to knit. So much fun and every time I do a Stephen West pattern, I learn new knitting things. I am never bored! Maybe by your next podcast I'll have it done. Thank you for sharing all the things. I love seeing the projects, the yarn and the area where you live.

In my day job I'm a NICU nurse. I just hate living in the same place for very long. After a few years I'm always ready to move.

Thank you for this podcast, and for keeping them going. I recently found your channel and am very much enjoying going through the back catalog now. Regarding your cardigan pattern, it is not unusual for those big brands in Norway to make "old fashioned" and sometimes confusing patterns that are not well edited or tested. It really is a pitty as I think they are not doing themselves any favours. (I live in Norway, and see this a lot). Those plastic laces you found are often used to make braceletts with plastic beads and to braid friendship braclets and keychains etc. I bet you will find them in your local craft shop in all sorts of colours and thicknesses. I love using mine to hold stitches when knitting a heal-flap on dpn's. Hope you are doing well, and I am looking forward to your new adventures! Sigridur

With that cardigan I was really tempted to fully rewrite the pattern to modern standards... then I remembered that I couldn't do anything with it, the pattern belongs to someone. Maybe I can get them to pay me to rewrite patterns?

@@haxtonknits You could try! The worst thing that vould happen is that they say no! (or ignore you all together). I think many knitters do this pirvately when using "big brand" norweagian patterns. I have done this for myself, and also for a friend who is new to knitting and has problems concentrating. If you want the cardigan, just do it!
