Thank you so much Simphiwe (my bitso) for your story man, I was having the most crappy day at work, I am diabetic and 31 years of age, now when my sugar lever gets low (hypoglycemia), I develop a Slurred speech and I get confused at time, mind you I work for an online store and talk to people through calls all the time. Sol was correct with everything that he said about Victoria Falls. Its original name is Mosi-oa-tunya, which is a language called kololo or lozi spoken in Zambia and Zimbabwe. I showed the episode to the Zimbabwean tourism and you guys have inspired plans to have the original name before colonisation reinstated. If its successful, please come to the "relaunch" and maybe do an episode there, I'll take care of you. Also, Jah Prazah is my friend. If you want him on the show I can make it happen. As you might have guessed, I'm Zimbabwean but based in South Africa. I've been a chiller from episode one, I never miss a show.

Mosi oa tunya is Sesotho. It was renamed by a Mosotho Emperor Sebitoane, who left Free State during Difaqane and went to go conquer Zambia. So he ruled tribes in that land and renamed the waterfall. Mzilikazi tried many times to attack his Empire and failed. To this day they speak a dialect of Sesotho called Silozi (Serotse).

Yall missed what ghost lady was saying. She simply means scare tactics don't work , actually you loose credibility the next time the fight escalates or something even worse happens. The police or the court won't take you seriously and then at the end of the we are going to blame the police and the justice system if something worse happens to her the next time. Again, perpetrators never forget the retaliation from their victims, things will die down now but mark my words he's not gonna stop especially when you have embarrassed him front of the world. Thuli should just leave that situation for good. Once they start, they won't stop.

An abuser must not be scared , they must be left alone...Thuli ditch him if he is abusive in any way big or small just get out because chances are he will not be taking you seriously when you go to the cops again. In fact he will probably say something along the lines of " here take the phone, call the cops"

Legally in SA domestic violence cases cannot just be withdrawn. Once lodged it is the case of the State. But then when the complainant who is usually the witness for the state refuses to take the stand then it is a useless case for the NPA coz how will it get a successful conviction without the witness

A tip I can give Sphiwe is to replace words that he can’t utter at all, or instead of saying some long words, try explaining that word into your sentence. That’s works too

What usually happens in court with Assault (GBV) cases is that when the case is in court, a process called mediation is done where the prosetutor and defense attorney sit both parties down and try solve the case outside court to see if the complaint is willing to forgive the accused. If mediation is successful then the case gets withdrawn. But the case can be re-opened when incident reoccurs.
