I have the utmost respect for this man. He turned around a painful past to a strong present that he and Shiho could look back with pride and a sense of achievement. I hope that Shiho will cherish and stand by the good morals and values that his father imparts. Every episode, my heart goes out to the child who, despite missing a mother figure, seems well adjusted and basking in his father's love. Dear Shiho, know that you're loved by all of us around the globe. all the best Jaeok. May you both achieve your dreams.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that. Every situation is different. I feel like she wasn't giving any credit to him for being a good father to Siho. Also, Siho's father is the perfect example of what it means to be a good father ❤.

I hope his mom (aunt) and her husband are well. Such loving people! I think it helps both Siho and his dad that they both have/come from untraditional families. They can bond and connect over that, and it makes them both more understanding against each other. I can't wait to sit at the dinner table and talk and bond with my son. He's only 10 months old, but I really look forward to having all these moments with him where we share our thoughts and feelings. I love how the dad makes Siho do all the "boring" stuff by making it into a game. So smart!

"It must be the love that he wants." At first I did not understand what the counselor/teacher was saying. But after rewinding and watching this a couple of times it made sense. Parents or guardians provide what they think is necessary but for some children it may not be what they are longing for.

In the concluding moments of the scene, Siho presents himself as strong, wearing a cheerful expression, and displaying obedience and maturity towards his father and others. However, on a psychological level, he bears hidden scars stemming from his parents' divorce and carries a deep-seated sadness. Siho craves abundant love and dislikes when people complain or perceive him as wrong. Stay strong, Siho's dad, and Siho....

I don't understand why this man isn't dating or that there isn't any females running to date him. He has all the qualities a woman should want in a man. I know I would be running towards him. He gives love has compassion isn't lazy doesn't rely on other people to make it in this world is humble. I could go on n on. If I were in that country I'd b looking for this guy. ❤

I suppose it's a little tricky for him, given that single childless women around his age and younger would probably be looking for someone who hasn't started a family yet. That being said, he seems as close to perfect as you can get that I'm sure many women would be willing to compromise. I'm a childfree by choice woman myself, but I'm suddenly going "well, I'd be okay with being a stepmom if I found a man like that!"

I would imagine he doesn't really have the time to go looking for one in the first place. If he doesn't meet a lady at places he is at often (work....or work) it's unlikely to happen. Maybe he also doesn't want to date, who knows.

I also really like the point system as a reward for chores rather than paying for each chore this is new to me. Taking care of your staff and helping them achieve their goals is very admirable, you are such a kind, caring and understanding person because of the hardships you have been through also known as lessons in life. ❤ Thoroughly enjoying following your journey as a single dad. He could afford a dining table but it's not important to him and his son. Reminded me so much of my uncle raising his two sons, I always wonder why he wouldnt buy beds when he has money to buy 3 at once and would just sleep in the living room 3 of them. sometimes 1 of the son would wet 1 mattress and they would huddle up with 2 mattresses; sometimes even with only 1. Watching this made me realised he probably think that he could enjoy their closeness as much as he could before the 2 boys would grow up and become adult. If my 2 cousins grow up being ungrateful to their dad, I would smack their head to remind them of how much their dad love them.

That boy and father are sweet. That boy needs a daycare club and a daycare when he comes home from school so that the father can work in peace and the son learns social skills. I like that children can develop and make new friends. A father cannot fulfill all needs and therefore it is important that he meets people and children of the same age. I hope the best.
