Ha!! I am the guy who put Bearcat on that strip of gold on the Rogue, I had worked most of it for two seasons prior.. That season I stayed in Happy Camp, Ca. and challenged the Cal. regs and agencies on the Klamath river... I told him what was left of that line, he did pretty good... I got 2 dredges confiscated and WE got screwed in court with the Rinehart decision.... but... I still dredged up WAY more gold than Bearcat!! lol, also was using Le Traps for clean outs... used to run an 8", now I have a 6, a 5, and a 4 inch, all just stored away now... been underground the last 5 yrs... Josh B. found the old Briggs Pocket about 2 weeks before me, but when We found it... sure startled Josh and surprised us!! our mine and mill site are VERY close by... Frog Pond also same road..

I replaced the old yellow pontoons with these upgraded ones. Who paints their pontoons?😜 I inherited that 4" dredge from the man who taught me to dredge. That is the max allowed here in oregon. That's a swivel nozzle upgrade also. it's a crash box and perfect for this style of flood gold. I have conveyer belt in front of the dream mat. Those big boulders are something else to deal with! It was a fun experience. You two are funny!

Haha nice! To be fair the guy who first taught me to dredge painted his pontoons as well lol. Yeah some of Oregon’s prospecting laws are a bit ridiculous. Are limit for Va is 4 inch as well but there is no permit or anything else. I’ll be doing a bunch of DM testing in the near future so stay tuned for that. Thanks for watching! I’m glad you found us funny!

It’s crazy all these people are on material that’s like $125 a yard 😂😂😂😂, wonder if they have a deal with Keene to sell dredges lol

I will say they did show some people on this episode that got like $10 to$60 worth of gold. So it did better being a bit more realistic. It yeah generally the estimates have seemed rather high.

The reason you don’t make money on $125 a yard is because of regulations, you can’t use big enough equipment to run serious yardage. I’m barely in the hookah episode, and I work with and know half the people on that episode, and if you think the gold we show is salted, or faked…. You’re wrong. If you’re limited to a 4” dredge, you’d be surprised how little material you move in a day.

@@theprospectinggeologist4347 The red one, Hookah Diving System, is the product we manufacture and promote. We can provide you with a particular model to show and tell you about it if you want. It's a very reliable companion to get us more gold underwater. Typically, sands and nuggets are found in the upper and middle reaches of the current, and I'm not sure I understand that correctly. But with many videos about gold, I have found that the probability of getting gold underwater is more than most other situations would be. I hope you understand if my understanding is incorrect.
