The Russians are an awesome and happy people at heart. We as American soldiers during the Cold War in Europe had much respect for their military and compassion for their people. We weren't enemies, only politicians are.

I'm former army myself and I'm so ashamed of Washington DC. I have many Russian friends and they are truly the best friends one could ever have. In fact if it wasn't for my girlfriend needing me right now I would be over in Ukraine now helping Russia

This is one of many air defence division in Russia. But this one is designed for a specific purpose. You can refer it as "special force". You send in the special troops trained to eliminate a complex target and get out. Instead of sending the entire battalion. And this is still part of integrated layered air defence complex. Just that Russian C4I system differs from NATO.

The United States prefer to take the fight to the enemy that's why they have military base around the world, but the problem with this strategy is that you can never turn all this scattered capabilities into a single fist when facing an enemy capable of destroying your satellites and communication systems.
