I was able to get all the Strawberry Lemonade fabric for the Heart of the Home pattern but I had to go to 4 different online shops to get it. I had called Country Pines Quilt Shop in Susanville, California and they found the honey buns for me in Michigan by searching for 1 1/2” strips instead of honey buns. Quilters are such a generous community.

Love Laguna Sunrise. Love that you added purple. My favorite line was Balboa, so glad to see a new line that is similar. I do love all of your lines, though. Excited to see your book this fall.

I know all of those cute Southern California beach towns and have been to each of them. We lived in Costa Mesa and went to Newport Beach all the time when our oldest were young. And if you keep heading south along the coast, you end up in Carlsbad where I grew up🥰 There’s nothing quite like the beach🌊 The Tulip and Vine quilt looks gorgeous and is my favorite too. That tulip quilt is everything!!

I am so glad I bought so much Strawberry Lemonade, 1/2 yard bundle, fat quarter bundle, honey bun, jelly roll, layer cake and charm pack! Also bought 10 yards of the cheater hexie. I'm almost afraid to use it now! I did get the Botanical Remix kit, and that is partially quilted.

Speaking of obsessed, after discovering you, I also went to Etsy and several dealers to collect collections gone-by and got a bunch of yardage and several precuts, and I am still so thrilled by how much of it coordinates! I now have a lovely stash in my open wire square baskets, ready to be pulled for my upcoming planned projects.

Our local quilt shop owner won’t bring in orders when people ask for them, or do special orders as she says she’s been stuck with fabric to many times. She did bring in Strawberry lemonade I paid over $24 dollars a meter for it. 🇨🇦

What inspired Strawberry Lemonade?

This is an industry question. It’s my understanding that fabric companies like Moda tell designers when they can reveal fabric lines to followers. I think you guys only revealed your new line about 2 weeks ago. Any idea why the reveal is so close to the ordering window closing? I kinda feel like there is a missed opportunity. Maybe it’s just my lack of industry knowledge.

I believe that quilt is in the most recent American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. There is a quilt along for it, too.
