Welcome and like most of us, you are s jill of all trades and that's great! It's so good to see a new podcaster looking at the camera and not at themselves on the screen! It really connects us when you look at the lens so well done you. I noticed you've fallen into the 'um' trap like most of us but you'll sort that out as you go along. Have a great day and thank you.

Hi! Just found you and enjoyed your podcast a lot! Your knits are stunning! I don’t know why people find it necessary to make negative comments. I didn’t even notice any “um’s”, so don’t get discouraged! I admire your willingness to put yourself out there!! Keep it up! You were great!!

Your podcast was great! Good sound, backdrop, content= very enjoyable. I love your Joni top. I’ll definitely knit it Spring 2024. I knit the Soldotna and loved it. Actually I knit one and didn’t like it so I immediately frogged it and knitted in different colors. It’s a fun knit-I hope you enjoy it.

Lovely first podcast. Thankyou. I too knit the Joni this year in a cotton but I love Scheepjes yarn and have some in stash so I might make another one next year. I did notice the bottom hem on yours was turning over, mine does that too and I actually had cast off on the wrong side to what the pattern says. I wondered if that was why it flips. I am going to take the cast off out and redo on the correct side. I wonder if you did the same 🤔. If not, then it must be the way it is finished. ❤

Thanks so much for watching!! I can't remember how I cast off the Joni. Maybe you are right! I'm too lazy to try to fix it though lol! I hope it works out for yours!

With regard to the sizing of the Soldotna.....the designer has a very strange Guage! I had to go up 2 sizes, and I'm not the only one who had this problem.
@KnittingByTheBay

Yes! I must admit I didn't do a gauge swatch 🤭🤫 But the rest of the sweater ended up being a good size, just the neck was weird. And also I added a lot more rows of the body chart than suggested...I think about double!
