Wow. Such a beautiful trail. I saw lots of sheltered picnic tables. What adorable towns your getting to see. The ocean, light house what more could you ask for. Just heavenly. What wonderful people you've met again. So kind. Thats a big take away for me from your videos. When I'm a little down, you and the people you meet always restore my faith in basic human kindness. It always reminds me its out there. Thank you for sharing all the kind stories along your journey.

I agree with making a basic plan and just going with the flow. Much better than trying to plan out every detail. I think those that try to plan too much miss a lot of opportunities like staying in people's backyards and meeting all kinds of interesting people. Who knows someone may invite you to barbecue at some point ? If you try to plan every little detail and things don't go as planned it opens you up to some disappointments. By not planning every little kindness is more of a surprise. That guy had the best back yard that I've ever seen and you had your own little quiet corner. Waiting to see what happens next.

I love how you didn't pre-plan too much. That's been my biggest worry, finding camping spots or food. I've got 3 weeks vacation this summer in July and this ride looks really appealing

It's going great ladies!! North Cape was very pretty. Those older gents sitting on the porch were helpful in letting you know where to set up your tent and even get a shower. I biked 400+ miles across Wisconsin with a cycle group. Great experience! Took 6 days. It's nice to see Canada thru your video. Will follow your adventure!

Absolutely loved this! Super cool that you ladies were able to leave your truck right at the welcome center! It is always super helpful when these types of areas are helpful in that aspect! The boardwalk riding looks exhilarating! This looks quite a bit more relaxing (minus the teenager incident!) than your last bike attempt! Looking forward to seeing more -what a stunning area to be showcasing!

What a truly wonderful place to ride! When I think back to all the traffic you had to deal with back on the west coast of the US versus where you are now, the contrast is amazing. Those roads and trails you are on now with minimal traffic is heavenly! Such a smart decision to come to PE. 👍

Hey Ladies, thanks for sharing something new to a "Bread and Buttered" Islander. My wife and I just bought ebikes and are looking forward to do the Island Walking trail. The Confederation Trail has been around since the end of trains on PEI in the 80's. I'd not heard of the walking trail, but plan to do it on our ebikes this Summer. Thanks for sharing! BTW the branch of the Confederation Trail that goes to the South East part of PEI has takes you to some of PEI's most scenic shores along the south coast. From Murray Harbour to Wood Islands Ferry Terminal and then back to Charlottetown. Not sure how much trail there would be after Murray Harbour but the view from the road is outstanding.

This is just WONDERFUL!! Not to be self serving, by any means, but I am SO glad the road has led you a different way this summer. It's every bit as much an adventure for us as it is for you. My maternal grandfather's people came over from Scotland way back in the day and first settled in the town of Tatamagouche, PEI before finding their way thru Nova Scotia and then down the US eastern coast. I picked up the desire from my mom to visit PEI and NS. Realistically speaking, I'll probably never get there. But now I get to see it thru your camera lens!! And that is just the coolest thing 😄. I'm with you in spirit!! Thanks SO much for taking me along!! 😄🚴🏽‍♀️🥰🚴😁!!

So glad to see You again, My plan was to This. It all planned with hotels, did not realize that the island had not planned much support for hikers at all. So we need a transfer to one from trail-and hotels, that was extremely pricey and too much for me. One day I will make it. It is a gorgeous Island. Enjoy.

I hope you take a leap of faith and go to Cape Breton Island, the Cabot Trail is nice but I don't know how bicycle friendly the road is and since you're so close you might as well see Newfoundland! At least the national parks :) I mean when would you get so close again? The people are lovely... really can't explain it...something that has to be experienced.

When I taught elementary grade “Gifted… and Yet Socially Challenged” 4th, 5th, and 6th graders in California, I always explained that Canadians are like the good kids on the playground… “sharing, caring, intelligent, and kind…” Your experiences on P.E.I. are showing the timelessness of that truth. Ride on! 👏💚🪷🌞
