Hello and welcome back to Miniverse! in this episode, I aim to show you how to make your own Warhammer Grim dark diorama! and as always these lessons will teach you how to make a sci-fi diorama for beginners.
Building this diorama was a lot of fun, especially using the small kits from Warhammer imperium. I got to practice quite a few techniques like how to make real dirt terrain paste and how to sculpt terrain and use LED’s in a diorama! Overall I thought this fantasy diorama looked pretty cool!

In this video, we'll be building a forest diorama for Warhammer 40,000. This diorama will be used to show off our skills to the Emperor!
If you're a fan of Warhammer 40,000 or war games in general, then you'll definitely want to watch this video. We'll be using all the tools at our disposal to create a beautiful forest diorama. It'll be fun to watch and I'm sure the Emperor will be impressed!
Warhammer Diorama build tutorial
Step one: How to make a Warhammer diorama
to start making the diorama I cut out some XPS foam to fit the size of my chosen piece of wood. using hot wire cutters I then shaped the foam to make the diorama look more natural.
Step two: Protect the Warhammer diorama
to protect the diorama from paint or other chemicals used later on I covered the diorama with a mixture of pairs of plaster, mod podge and paint in a 50/30.20 mixture.
Step three: How to paint Warhammer miniatures
there are many guides on this but I usually prime white and use contrast paints for a quick job.
Step four: Painting your Warhammer diorama
it's important to undercoat your diorama or even Warhammer terrain so that any space that can be seen through the snow has a colour to it.
Step six: How to make a woodland texture paste
find some plants first and bake for an hour. add water, mod podge and paint in equal parts and stir. apply thickly and there you have it your virtual free terrain paste.
Step seven: Finishing the Warhammer 40k diorama
make sure to take lots of photos of your newly made diorama and annoy your friends and family with them at every moment you can.
All these techniques can be used for lots of things from Warhammer fantasy and 40k terrain to Warhammer Cursed city terrain and scenery.

Those woods look eerily similar to the ones near my house especially that cut out entrance. This came out great by the way

Very nice! Love to see some 40K stuff. Very nice job as always, LEDs make the scene look amazing. If you enjoyed painting some of GW plastic, you may find enyoable making small dioramas based on their sets. I am currently working on scions od the flame diorama, but i want to finally make some display pieces for my 40K army

Why doesn't no one - even GW itself want to make a diorama inspired by 300 (Spartans)? The Warhammer has everything that was shown in the movie.

Hey, the general idea is to fill in / smooth out gaps of the diorama so that it looks natural in the terrains as well as an adhesive to the resin rocks. However, these days I'd use an air drying clay like daz as it's so much cheaper and easier to use!
Don't project an ad over the finished product! Gotta milk that reveal, my man. I was invested until the obstructed anticlimax.
i love it, but you could hhave given the necron weapons a green wash or glow like with tesarect glow or something
