I don't usually care for hard and fast rules like this in any test flight regime. Following the data is the logical path. In this case, the data clearly says Rock On.

I’m serious when I say this but I was listening to Free Bird for this launch. It wasn’t the original but it was the TOKEN version and if you listen to it, you’ll understand why. OG Free Bird is still better tho

Starship doesn’t need a free bird cover, a free bird cover needs starship.

I sync freebird to every rocket launch I watch live. Been doing it since that Artemis 1 vid. Glad to see others do the same :)

It’s crazy to think that when Lynyrd Skynyrd were writing this song, they didn’t know it was for this video!

It's like seeing a bunch of my favorite KZreadrs celebrating hope.

This gave me goose bumps and a big smile on my face. The song selection and timing were near perfection. Free Bird was my favorite tune as a kid and still is. Released shortly after the last moon landing we thought Starship type work would be underway in the 70s. May have taken a lot longer than anyone anticipated back then but thank goodness the team at SpaceX are making these dreams finally come true. Great video!!!

I remeber watching the live stream on X, and when they showed the top of the booster I saw for a split second what looked like the hot stage ring falling before they both hit atmosphere

it's was great watching it live. this was unfreaking believably GREAT! 😂

If this flight was this good, I am going to be jumping up and down when they finally catch a booster, because if we can catch a literal fucking skyscraper what can’t we do (excluding traveling at the speed of light or immortality)

include the flight telemetry to show how insanely fast this thing is

So there can be 2 possible mission goals here. 1) for everything that goes up to make it back to the ground... which space shuttle Columbia managed on its last flight. -Elons setting his goals really high there. 2) to make it through the atmosphere without burning up and disintegrating. -What do you call it when your vehicle burns up and disintegrates,.... in a test to see if it can make it through re-entry without burning up and disintegrating? Weirdly cropped, laggy stuttery footage, mismatched sounds. Not a good cinematic but there's a lot of room for improvement.
