9:55 i believe that was a glitch that got fixed btw, sometimes units with immortality on death would just die to smth like a burn detonate or fixed damage while unbuffabled

Extra damage kills immortal passive units instantly(as intended) while hit damage still triggers that weird damage block and 1% hp regen interaction known from kayron's release 5 years ago and never been fixed(tested it few weeks ago). I thought it was engine issue and workaround to buff immortality before unit dies. But immortality passive works fine while triggered by extra damage. Haven't seen any bug reports on stove forums about that.

You only get attack buff if you arent debuffed

Tachi only gives Atk buff if you don't have any debuffs at the start of the turn

i can suggest bdom straze and seline/kayron for the safe comp againts ran jenua bmh defense, but seline is better since most ran are using rnl and will fckd up straze
