Haulover inlet is one of the most popular Inlet in the word and it can be a little scary the first time. If you're looking for a good time, come on down and check it out!
Bakers Haulover Inlet is a man-made inlet created in 1925 connecting Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean . In 1926 a hurricane destroyed the bulkhead and jetty on the ocean side of the inlet. In 1927 two 700 foot long steel sheet pile jetties were constructed 325 feet apart on the north and south sides.

Keyward boat was was to close to capsizing...if he had inboard engines it would have been all over...never have I seen such stupidity in boating as KZread now shows. What these captains don't realize is timing and speed when approaching waves. One of the worse designed boats as shown in your video is the square low bow Hurricane boat, it acts like a spoon in rough seas picking up water constantly. The highest point on a boat should be the bow, not the lowest.
