oh I remember in my childhood we had something which was called slush (which wasn't) it was a cup with iced flavored sugar water and it would come with a wooden spoon. The fun was you had to scrape the ice with the paddle until you had enough to have a spoonfull and eat it up. aaah memories.

Loved the intro guys. You two can always makes me feel better. Those were some delicious looking frozen desserts. Blueberry cheesecake was a popular flavor when I dipped ice cream many moons ago, it still is to me. Peach is wonderful, but Mama's is the best. (My Mama's). The chocolate bar looked great too, with the soft chocolate center. I am a fruit cake lover, even the Christmas, ones so that cookie looked luscious. Can't forget the one like Halo Halo without the Ube. You know I love Ube. Thanks guys, can't wait till the next one. JC

i love the kagoshima shirokuma ice cream. it reminds me of the time when we went to sakurajima, our japanese professor bought us ice cream to eat along the way

Supercup chocolate chip mint was my go-to ice cream in the hellish summer when I lived in Japan! Cheap and really refreshing :) I loved to taste the haagen dasz limited edition too (I love the haagen dasz matcha crispy sandwich!)

Life goals! I want to try 11 different ice creams! The dark chocolate, uji matcha, mitarashi dango, and blueberry cheesecake flavors sound wonderful. My favourite Japanese ice-cream is Yukimi Daifuku. My second favourite is probably Aisu no mi in either grapes or peach flavour. I have never been in Japan for summer, but that Lotte sou peach one sounds incredible. Kakigōri is great for hotter weather.

One can never go wrong with matcha! We have an ice cream cone in Sweden right now with matcha and raspberry ice cream and it is sooo good! Sadly I suspect it's only a temporary version

I'm guessing the sou ice cream is a sorbet, as you said it's like a mixture between ice cream and shaved ice. Sorbets are really refreshing and nice. ❤
