Yellowstone is my favorite place in the world. Ive been lucky to have been through it 6 times in the last five years.

I agree. I think the place could be called Waterfall Nat. Park. Tons of them along the road and especially in the backcountry.
Terrific video! Yellowstone never gets old. You guys are the number one reason I’ve slowly changed from a lady towing a teardrop TAB to having a simple build out done on a van and embracing van life.. Done in October, then I’ll be watching out for you from my own van!

Love watching y’all videos. Joe is just like my husband coffee all the time-no matter if the weather is hot or cold.
I always get excited when I see the bell go off that your new video is ready! I love Yellowstone park!
wow, we were at Yellowstone a few years back, end of April, sooooo much traffic. Must go again and find where you went with not much traffic. Oh wait, it was later in the year, different trip, different time. Love your videos and am in love with your van. And when we were there we got hustled along by rangers. My no brain sister in law got out and strolled along with bison. She had to run to catch up with me since I was forced to move my rv lol.
I can’t wait to visit Yellowstone National park,.It was pretty cool getting a glimpse of all the animals around the park. And the gorgeous backdrops with snow covered hills.🐾😊👋
Loved the video and it brought back memories of 1965 version of VAN LIFE; a new chevy station wagon pulling a pop up camper on a Yellowstone adventure with Mom, Dad, and my 3 sisters. We camped at several national parks over a 2 week trip. Bears were fed from the cars regularly and seemed pretty tame. Bear slobber on the windows were a souvenir to show the neighbors 😂.

Can’t imagine that now! Kait’s aunt was attacked by a bear tent camping in Yellowstone many years ago.
WOW! That's an awesome scenery ! Thanks for sharing.
This season is so amazing! Great episode and I cannot wait to see next week's! Thanks for all you do!
The museum complex is wonderful. Especially on a rainy day. We live just N of Yellowstone and statistically, bear spray is more effective than a handgun in protecting yourself from bears. There are also several places in Yellowstone to rent the bear spray if you don't want to shell out for a full can or want more than one. We've never had to use our bear spray but every year it saves someone's life. Trout lake is wonderful this time of year as the trout span in the little creek that feeds the lake and there's often a family of otters. Great tour. Glad you had such a good time. -Henry
You did a great job on this video! Seems like this was a good time of year to go. Love seeing Charlie!
There are so many beautiful things to see.
If you park at the Fairy Falls trailhead, short hike on a gravel trail will take you to much higher ground, a lookout of the grand prismatic spring. It is an amazing view that you just cannot get from that boardwalk. Great video! 👍
Great video! Love Yellowstone, and Grand Tetons.
Glad to see you going places again. Love Yellowstone. Couldn’t find a spot in Norris last summer and had to drive all the way through the park-could barely find parking for our 25ft class C. You were lucky to see Beehive even if you missed Steamboat!
I can’t believe that after all this time, I’m STILL finding old videos of yours that I’ve never seen before 🤯😱

How’s that possible??!!
Love the park, love the van. Your camera is so bright and clear it's like being there (I wish). I have a girlfriend in Cody and we drove to Yellowstone last March. They'd just opened the east entrance and there was so much snow, frozen lakes but NO traffic. It was amazing to stop where ever we wanted and enjoy it. There was also a lot of tree clearing and construction along the road by the famous fishing bridge. I wonder how it's coming along. I'll just have to stay tuned to the next video and maybe you take me there? Have fun!!! and thank you for sharing your adventures. 😎
I went with my son and his sixth grade class on a trip to Yellowstone in 2008. We visited the park in March and most of it was closed but what we saw was beautiful.
When we visited Yellowstone we were able to observe a mother black bear and two cubs. Plus elk, a bald eagle, and lots of buffalo. Just loved out visit and hope to get there again.
Thanks for sharing,,, Safe, happy & blessed travel on your all journey,,,
I absolutely love Yellowstone!! I can’t wait to go again.
I came to watch because we are planning a trip to Yellowstone next year. I just got to the part where Joe says: I will carry the bear spray so you can be behind me ( or something like that). I'm going back to watch the rest, but that may be my favorite part. As we say in Australia goodonya Joe.
Some day! What an amazing experience to be had!
Looks like a lot of fun.
Beautiful park..... That's on my bucket list.....the waterfall was pretty cool....
Another great video! Looked a little colder than our trip to Yellowstone, but we went the end of August! Love following your travels and can’t wait to see what vehicle you two ultimately end up with! Happy Trails!

Hello, you two! This is the second video of yours that I've seen. The first was about cassette toilets! Anyone that can make a video on dumping a toilet, look classy, is great in my book!!! LOL! Y'all, ( yes I'm Southern,) are adorable! Keep up the great work!!! 💖🇺🇸

Yep. Dad was the station commander for the army recruiting station there. Sister graduated there and ended up moving somewhere new when his time there was up.
Your bear spray discussion reminds me of the old yarn, that one need not be able to outrun the bear. One only needs to outrun the person next to you! Bear spray, schmerspray! Yellowstone is special. Great video! 😂

Keep peanut butter at the ready... My buddy can run faster than me, but if I cover his backpack in peanut butter, I still win, lol.
Will definitely look into van to explore the national parks
I love the Bob Ross vibe you two lovely people exude.
We came down from Yellowstone the same way you went in. Scary. Sheer cliff on your right, sheer drop (bottomless?) on the left. That was fifteen years ago and I'm still dreaming about it. Sagging guard rails and all....
You can "rent" bear spray at one of the shops inside the park. You can return it unused and get most of your money back! Spend several days to a week at least to really see the park. Camp at several different campgrounds throughout the park, move every few days. If you have a tow behind trailer, bring your solar panel to keep the batteries charged up. Most of the sites do not have hook ups. Right after Labor Day is a good time to visit, weather is still really good and the crowds are lighter.
Just awesome! Can’t wait for the next adventure. Thank you so much for sharing.

Welcome to Canada Wow love the view and nice video 👍🏽😎👍🏽
Great video; my wife and I go every year, and we're considering a Class B like yours for comfort and convenience (especially in the current world situation). Nice to see that something that size works out well there!
Glad you got to grand prismatic springs, it is absolutely beautiful and colorful, we did not see bears, you were very lucky.
Love Yellowstone. I grew up in the South Pacific and read about Yellowstone and other NPs in National Geo. Been there 4 times and will go again. Enjoying the vids. Sub'd.
Sorry about the trail closure but it is mama Grizzly and her family's land first. Got to respect them. It really is amazingly beautiful. The fall was an unexpected but beautiful surprise. Thank you for showing the scenery so nicely.

That is a great place. Loved the video
Worked at Fishing Bridge in 1969, at the gas station. Best summer ever. Saw all of the places that you did, but of course back then did not have a digital or movie camera...only a tiny, box Kodak. did you go down the "thousand stairs" at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone?" Yellowstone Park at the bluest sky that I had ever seen and I see that it still exists as judged by some of your video. The cutthroat trout from Yellowstone Lake was the tastiest fish that I have ever had. Your next stop should have been Grand Teton Park, so we all anxiously await your video from there.
Yes, take us with you through your VLOG to China!
Great video's guys ...Watching from Australia
The Beartooth Pass is my favorite place out west; It is so beautiful! Also, I'm jealous of your moose sighting! That is awesome. I spent several days in Yellowstone last year and never saw a moose! I have also went on adventures in Maine, near Mount Katahdin, specifically looking for a moose and only saw one (for a brief moment)! I love your adventures. I also did not see wolves in Yellowstone. You guys seriously got blessed there! Please keep sharing! Thanks so much! Blessings to you both.

So sad we missed you guys! We were there a few weeks ago and have been following you guys for years:-) Now we’re sad. 😞 But looks like you guys had as good of a time as we did! We actually camped close to where you guys did outside of Yellowstone, too. Then in Mammoth. Norris was a little tight for us. Great location though.
We are headed for the North Cascades this year. But on the way back to Minnesota from Washington we are stopping though yellowstone/silvergate to do the Beartooth pass. It was too snowy in 2017 for us to do it. Dead Indian pass (the alternate) is phenomenal too, but I bet it isn't even close. Cant wait for september.

Just an update. We did do Beartooth pass. It's phenomenal. Possibly the most unique landscape I've ever seen. It's worth going out of your way for. It's way cooler without the snow. And the cook city/silver gate area to Tower Junction is probably my favorite part of the park. The landscapes are awesome. Also: if you can hike uphill, go to the North Cascades and not Yellowstone. It's freaking beautiful, and there aren't a bajillion people around. Bring your bear spray though. We were miles from the van and a few thousand feet above it when a black bear was on the switchback we were headed towards. He was just doing bear stuff, but still. I felt better knowing we had bear spray with us. (And if it came down to it, I would've smeared peanut butter all over my buddies backpack without him knowing... Lol)
Fun video 👍👍 love Charlie.
Great cinematography sequence of the river, waterfall, river around the 10:30 mark. The theory about being chased by a black bear is run downhill; since their front legs are shorter than their rear legs, they trip themselves up and roll by you. Unfortunately the theory fails to adequately address what to do when you both are at the bottom of the hill. Hopefully it will be an educated bear who is just as terrified as you are. Cheers, Harold (retired land surveyor)
Awww.....Charlie was trying to do a doga stretch. My dog loves doing that on me. And she may need to that leaning against your body just b/c of the limited space in the van.
Beautiful video.
I saw many of ur rv.. my favorite is hymer rv..
I'm surprised that the park didn't look that crowed?.great looking RV.
Great flick guys! Interesting and just fun. You two are awesome. Which TV do ya prefer. Wonder or navion?
Great video enjoy your journey.
Russos, thanks for your Yellowstone trip, oldfailure, isstill b
Love the van guys, but it needs to be the larger van! The one with the dual wheels and longer extended wheelbase. It's 156" wheelbase, should be short enough still to get everywhere you want to go yet give you a little more room. Love the videos! Stay safe out there!
Hi Joe and Kate. I really enjoy your videos. I had to laugh about the coffee. My wire haired dachshund LOVES coffee but it has to have cream in it too. He won’t drink it black. A coffee left on the bedside table is fair game when the ramp to the bed is available.

Hilarious!
"If A black bear is chasing you, you don't want to climb a tree" -Kait Never, *Never*, run from a bear. You ALWAYS stand your ground. and make yourself look big by waving your arms around. You calmly and loudly address the bear. Say whatever you want, It cant understand you, but make sure you are being vocal calmly and firmly. If the bear attacks: If it is a black bear, you fight. Fight with everything you have. Go for the soft spots like the eyes, the nose and the nuts. If it is a grizzly, you lay on your stomach with your legs spread apart so the bear cant flip you over (it will try). use your arms to protect your head and neck. The idea is to survive, you are going to be hurting... The reason you fight a black bear but not is grizzly actually has nothing to do with the size of the animal or your chances of winning. Even a hungry grizzly doesn't associate humans *_as_* food. They attack humans if they feel threatened and the attack will stop when they feel they have subdued the threat. Black bears, on the other hand, do see humans as food if they are very hungry. With a black bear, unless you are doing something exceedingly stupid, like chasing it, the vast majority of attacks are when the bear is hunting the human (and it is usually hunting a small child or small woman). Well fed black bears will nearly always run from a human if they feel threatened. If it is attacking you, it is probably trying to eat you. That is why you fight the black bear. If you do notice that you are *_being stalked_* by a grizzly, or any animal, your instinct should be to fight. They are trying to eat you, and no amount of playing dead will help. Johns Hopkins did a very thorough study on bear attack in the USA. It is online somewhere if you want to google for it. It's pretty interesting. My buddy carries bear spray when we hike. But your first defense should be your brain. Make noise when youre hilking. Talk to one another loudly. (Dont wear a bear bell, most bears are curious and may go to investigate). Bang your trekking poles together. Sing. Hum loudly to yourself. Clap. Keep your eyes alert. If there are kids around, encourage them to be loud and annoying, lol. And for fux sakes, dont ever approach a bear. Not even one step. Use common sense. If you are one of those people without common sense, please google it before you go hiking. It will be your best tool in every situation, and will keep you out of dangerous situations all the time. Ok, there is one instance you can run from a bear. Do whatever you can, including fighting and running, from a polar bear. You should also shoot it. You do have a gun right? Because common sense dictates that you should if you have a chance to encounter polar bears... But if you cant get to safety pretty much immediately, you're just fucked.
@ruinsane100
4 жыл бұрын
I was with you until you suggested shooting polar bears. Better yet, stay out of their areas and nobody has to die. Animals have enough obstacles to deal with just to survive ASIDE from all the man-made dangers, of which there are too many. Let's not rub salt in the wounds for them.
@herranton
4 жыл бұрын
@@ruinsane100 I'm just saying. If you need to be in those areas, you should be armed. I'm not suggesting we should go hunting. I like bears, and polar bears too, but as long as we will live in areas with a polar bear population (barrow ak, Churchill Canada, Moscow Russia), humans need to take the proper precautions. If you are in Barrow, there are literally signs saying not to pass this point without a rifle. Native Americans have lived there for thousands of years, are you suggesting we take them and move them? I dunno about you, but we tried that once before and it didn't go so well.
Another great video......makes us sad that our 39’ RV is just too big for Yellowstone......
Happy 4th! I like your hat!
That was beautiful :)
Haven't watched it and I'm making an opion on all of it. LOL hahaha that's funny.
When were you in the park? Was it recent like within the past couple weeks or further back. Reason I ask is I noticed all the snow still around. When we went to Yellowstone we went last week of May 1st week of June 2011. We saw cow elk dropping babies, Grizzlies and Cubs, basically most of the parks animals but part of the park was still under some snow so we couldn't get to those parts. We also had a blizzard on day 2. We were there though before the massive summer crowds so was easy to get around and see lots of animals.
Great Video!!
Happy 4th of July !🍻✨🎉🎉🎉..👍👍👍
