" an abrasive process" 9 groans out of 10, awesome video
When many tutors explain their videos without the work it's boring,I love your video bcoz you explain everything without interrupting your work.

I agree with ya 💯% The recipe is spot on. That chopper is a monster 👻 I want it.
🥲 a KZreadr that didn't waste 30% of their metal on cutting and sanding. As a blacksmith and a tinsmith. Good job smith.

Seriously, right !!! That annoys me so much. Wasting such great products just because people are too lazy to try to smith.
4 minutes in and I realized it’s titled _Bowie_ and not bowtie. Makes a lot more sense.
I wanted a Hunting knife for my friend as a Birthday gift because he is a great hunter. I searched a lot and in the end, saw a knife which is the perfect gift for every situation. The knife I purchased was absolutely beautiful! Well crafted and heavier than I expected. The blade material was pure in quality and the handle was made from natural wood. I bought this from Almazan Knives. My friend And I are both really satisfied with their product.
Looks sweet. Real nice job. Thanks for not posting 10 mins of hand sanding!!!
Great work! I sincerely respect the American attitude to quality and efficiency. And I express my sincere gratitude for your help. America's guns, help from the taxpayers do extremely important things for us here in Ukraine. YOU help us defeat the occupier and the aggressor. Russia is real evil. So thank you indeed so much!
Great job, I would say epic.

never knew Binging with Babish made his own knifes... that guy is always 4 steps ahead of us
the moment you said convex bevel, I became a fan.
I would love to be able to own my own forge one day to do projects like this. Amazing work!

Crocodile Dundee would definitely approve.
That is a really great chopper!
The primal terror I felt when he said “I think this build is going pretty well” only went away when I realized he probably recorded the voice over after he finished.
Sanding is an abrasive experience. I see what you did there.
"hand sanding is an abrasive experience" haha that's hilarious!
I find hand sanding “abrasive” too! That made me chuckle. I’d really like to explore the concept that worn out belt make wandering grinds. I figured it was more me having an off day, but if I can blame it on worn belts, I might be able to justify buying belts more often. Thanks for another great video!

Definitely a really nice Bowie.
Ah yes I find hand sanding to be a rather abrasive experience as well…
"...an abrasive experience..." Priceless Puns.😁
That’s not a knife!!! That’s a piece of Art!!! Great work mate!!
That is one *SMEXY* blade! The final pattern reminds me of alligator hide, which would be an awesome name for the blade: Alligator Blade. (would also be an epic band name!)
I know nothing about forging, but could watch a master craftsman work all day long. I'm pretty sure that makes me a foreman. Beautiful result, sir.
Great pun, " Bunch of hand sanding, not my favorite, over all it's an abrasive experience." lol
I could imagine a crocodile boot wearin fella wielding that thing. Love it
That definitely turned out pretty awesome. The edge being a solid piece like it is gives a nice contrast to the ball bearing pattern.
Awesome project !

I don't know why this stood out to me, but I love your beard!
I'm gonna go with super cool... epic is a tough one. When I think epic I think a Kyle Royer sword. This video was great and this knife is really awesome definitely steps above average work. Great content again.
That’s freaking nuts my guy. Hell of a good job sir.

Can you build one like for me so I can give it to my Son's Service to the Navy. He just finished his 6th year contract. He likes knives since he was a kid. Look me up.
Loved seeing you hammer in the point.
Nice work as usual!!
Definitely epic I love how the edge steel forms a hamon line going into the bearings

The blade could easily be called a leopard pattern blade. The handle complements the blade. Very good work! looking forward to your next project.😀

stunning blade! your “thinking outside the cannister” idea really works well! 👍👍👊👊
That is a beautiful knife.
I too, think sanding is an abrasive experience. Love your work, love the knife.
White paint is life!
Really appreciate the voice over. I feel like a lot of these videos are done ASMR style, which is nice, but it's great to hear you explain what and why you're doing things. Subbed
You killed it with this one. What a beaut.

Hand sanding is an abrasive experience... Waka waka
Love your work. I watch a lot of different "project" channels, for lack of a better term, that are out of my wheelhouse but I always learn something that I can use in projects that are in my wheelhouse. You've given me ideas for keeping my kitchen blades cared for and your handle making for my own wood working projects. Course I have to do most of the work by hand.

Hey, working by hand only means you make the mistakes more slowly, giving you more time to catch them before going too far. Power tools make mistakes so quickly that we waste materials. [With the exception of a coal forge. They burn the steel much more quickly than a gas forge.]
Beautiful Bowie knife. Great craftsmanship. 👍
Congratulations on the beautiful knife
That's a beautiful knife I wish I could afford something like that I'm a single father raising three kids I could never afford something like that you do an amazing job
That looks DOPE as all get out. Nice work man
I absolutely love how you were able to continue the edge to the tip with consistent width! It turned out fantastic! Family heirloom right there! For generations.
The knife turned out pretty well. The pattern in the steel and it the wood you chose for the handle compliment each other nicely. Well done.
Definitely Epic! I really like how it turned out! Thanks again for sharing!

Very skilled man who made it look easy to make a Bowie knife
I love how forging is a bunch metal making metal

Sanding is an "abrasive" experience... Yes, yes it is.
Great video I love watching the process of a beautiful Knife 🔪 coming to life. Now to jump on over to Your website and see how much One of these beauties are. 😉😉
wonderful manual work . A huge knowledge of steel, forging and more. All this work for a great result. Thank you for sharing.
God damn I love this channel. Just so cool no bullshit just straight up making cool shit out of basically anything
That's a knife, Well done.
Thank you for the video, it's an awesome knife.
That is a true work of art. I love almost any bowie style knife and that one is amazing.
Beautiful, I particularly like the handle, not only the material but the shape. The way it sweeps out towards the end is how I like a handle to be.👍Regards from Down Under.

good job I love the designs of knives. I keep a collection of old knives from several countries. The best of them is a Brazilian stainless steel knife. hunting knife. It has the black bison bull logo. 12" Blade Knife, and the handle mahogany Antique I use it on trips and it never disappoints.
Kewl blade. Thanks for sharing the build process, very interesting as always.
that's a really awsome bowie! me and my dad are building a forge rn and watching awsome builds like this really gives me motivation. :) keep up the good work!

@@FireCreekForge could you tell us what white paint you use? No one ever shows the can label, it seems.

@@thomasarussellsr Not sure if you've found an answer over the last month but I believe anything with titanium dioxide as an ingredient will work, it is a white powder used to dye things white, which I believe is also its use in whiteout. Regardless as long as it contains that I think it will stop the forge weld to your canister.

That thing is freakin sick beautiful blade brother!!!
Gorgeous Bowie Knife
Gorgeous knife Also appreciate the commentary throughout the build...simple and to the point
Really nice job! The Leopard wood really accented the finished product.
The difference between the first and second time of shaving hair your skin pulled. Nice knife.
If you ever get a chance to watch Alan Ladd as Jim Bowie in "The Iron Mistress", do. The movie itself isn't much, but when the blacksmith finishes his knife, the design is absolutely gorgeous, a real piece of art.
I have truly loved watching your progression as a blade smith, your experiments have been awesome culminating in a truly beautiful blade.
So good. Very beautiful blade
