Hello, I'm curious on how to find out who my familiar is. Could you please assist me on how to explore this? Love your videos! Also, I normally pray to Hecate, I've noticed that every time I sense her energy, when I'm in my mode, I start crying. Is it because she is letting me know she is there? Not sure why this happens, but when it does, it feels immense. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Christy

You're stepping out boldly with this one. A lot of people aren't ready - or willing - to be confronted with a drawn or tapped Oracle. Fewer still are prepared for that weepy eyed, back and head on fire feeling and what goes with it.

Right now, I wish KZread was around back in the 80's to learn info like this. I was 18 and married when I bought my first deck of tarot. I already had times with just knowing. My husband at the time always said I was just having lucky guess. Trying to learn the tarot, I got him to let me read his cards. Half way through I looked at him and ask, "are you planning to divorce me?" In shock he reply, "I was thinking about it." We were divorced a year later. You explain it very well. You are so very right about a lot of people who struggle with it. Sometimes I didn't want to have this skill. I didn't have access to the info. Now I'm use it and live comfortably with it. It is a gift AND a curse.

Oh yeah...the "just knowing" is definitely a blessing at times but also a curse at others. But I don't enjoy being blind to the truth. My 1st husband couldn't get away with doing anything behind my back because I always knew. I did the same with my 2nd husband...I KNEW he was up to something and my tarot cards told me as well. I found out he was talking very inappropriately to another woman and inviting her to his truck (he is a truck driver).

I agree with you both. This would happen to me with everyone, I could sit next to people and know things I didn't want to know. It's under control now. A blessing if you know how to use it and a curse of you don't. Same with being an empath that can physically take on others pain.. Blessed be sisters. 💞✨

As a Medium myself when i channel i will cry sometimes too! It was explained to me by my guides that its there vibration of pure love and my human body reacts by the feelings i receive from them. When im doing a reading i will sometimes have to ask them to step back just bit because i can't talk and cry at the same time! Thank you so much for this video!! 💜

I cried once with a group of ladies during a guided meditation...it was so powerful. The guide said she could sense my emotions. Plus I'm an empath...energy sponge.

I had a very similar experience. I was never very successful at meditation on my own however the first one I did within a group was so vivid and powerful, I couldn’t hold back the tears.

I know this emotion. I believe it is the emotion that comes from connecting with Home. With Love. Ultimate Loving Source. That's my experience. So much touches my heart and causes tears to flow. It hurts, but it is genuine.

Spiritual awareness and awakening causes an emotional impact on your heart. It's overwhelming to me to get an answer to my prayers. I become highly emotional when my prayers of a loved one become healed. Its humbling. ❤

Wow! What a cool episode! Thank you! One of my favorite teachers taught that we become emotional because the energies we're channeling or invoking are far greater than our physical form's capacity to hold and we need to just "flow with it". Always ground, always keep a connection to your "here and now" physical. Very easy to get swept up by the entity you're working with and because they are energy, not physical, and you can get pulled away from your physical body.

The tears are a spiritual cleansing, we need this to clear our own emotional blockages. We need to make room for the emotions we will feel.....to stop/prevent confusion that may come to us if we are unable to keep them separate, also to put us in a lighter and stronger mental state, (less vulnerable) That is how my high priestess explained it and I have found through experience. So in the Christian church (former Christian here) they have what is called “speaking in tongues” where they believe they are literally taken over. No one understands what they are saying except one person. In more cases than not, I didn’t believe the person as I went to a corrupt church and it was often a husband and wife... I digress... So to me when I hear you say that you are saying what you are being told and are just overcome during a drawing down that is how I interpret what you are saying. Being so connected to God or Goddess is just being washed over. Thank you for all you do. I really enjoy your work and absolutely loved this lesson!! This is the 1st time that I've come across "channeling" within the craft. It wasn't until I went into soul shock a few years ago and had a spontaneous Kundalini awakening that this gift was made clear to me, but I only found information within the Spiritualist community until now... it goes hand in hand with the gift of "knowing" .. And I guess the reason people get so emotional is because what you're doing is emotional. You're recognizing the God and Godess and building a relationship in a way with them. In return they recognize you too and a bond is formed. I think it's amazing and humbling in a way. To have answers and know that they can be trusted and want to reach back to you. I used to be a trance channel about 30 years ago. What you said was so true and brought back memories. That energy you described, for me it was like the power of the orgasmic spasm you get in sex, but its non sexual, and in the spine, crown and solar plexus, and not in the genitals. There's a threshold that gets crossed, then it's like an uncontrollable rush.

Bursting into tears is very normal. I can't explain why, but it just washes over and then the words and images come. Others in the presence often have similar responses. When we Tap the connection is shared.

I had no idea I was already channelling. My soon to be husband suggested that I start grounding in my favorite chair (natural wood). While focusing on the Tree of life we having hanging up in our living room. I started feeling completely relaxed, seeing images that had nothing to do with everyday life. Than the tears started. Why the emotional impact of drawing down the Goddess or God? When I draw down Cernunos or Llew, the light and dark God of the Celtic path, for us to be blessed by a diety is extreme and truly a blessing. Cry and be emotional in the presence of the devine... I ride a harley and have a long beard and long hair covered in tattoos, and yet in the devine I feel blessed.

So helpful! I've channeled a few times, definitely emotional. It's so interesting how you explained the invocation of the God and Goddess. I've never done or witnessed it in circle but I believe I've done this in dreams. I connect with a masculine energy I call Blue (don't know him outside of dreams unfortunately) and we channel the divine masculine and feminine through singing. I cry even in the dreams, haha! I've learned that there are 3 modes or phases of possession. The first is known as "being ridden", and this is characterized as a strong sensation of something behind you, especially clinging to your back. The second is known as "two headed", and that is when you share space in yourself with something other. The third is complete, and from what I have witnessed, there is full surrender with no recollection. I have never experienced the third state, and I'm not certain I ever want to! I have full respect for those who engage in such sacrifice, in the correct circumstances and for the service of the people. Im just not a fan of the extreme anxiety and tunnel vision that precipitates it!! Lol

Mugwort, skullcap and damiana mixed 2:1:1 are a nice natural herb mixture for that purpose.

The tears start rolling bc this is very important to us and we embrace our connection with spirit/universe. I start crying sometimes when I do readings for people because I know my deliverance is from the Ethereal and I feel one with the Divine. I've read that some channelers with take precautions and cast a protective circle in order to only allow positive energies to pass. I will surround myself with a white light. As far as I'm aware, aside from my higher self, I don't think an entity has actually spoken through me. But words have come from a Higher place and I'm listening to what I'm saying and it's amazing. When connecting with higher beings it usually comes with an intense amount of love and joy. Its so intense I will want to laugh or cry. I've definitely had a channeled? moment where I just feel things or I see certain images. Then days, weeks, or even months later I have the *heaviest* sense of deja vu, where there is such a weight over me. It's always just very brief moments in time though nothing prolonged. Thank you so much for your video and describing your experiences they are so helpful and inspiring if I'm being completely honest. I really want to start bringing regular meditation into my life not just for focusing my intention but into my practice. I'm off to do just that now.

Good job with this one! It is an amorphous topic and hard to describe to those who do not naturally channel and must learn through practice. Being patient with yourself and practicing without the expectation of immediate results is often difficult at first. I have participated in and have also been the focus of a drawing down on many occations both private and public. For me the tears during a drawing down are a reflection of the knowledge that I am truly seen, recognized, accepted and completely understood by deity without any explaination required. They know me to my core and I am in their presence in perfect love and perfect trust in which I am able to be at perfect peace. This peace is something that all of us often forget during our day to day mundane lives. And even though I must step away from their immediate presence to attend to and focus on mundane matters; the moment of reconnecting and surrendering to "just being" in a loving presence is humbling, overwhelming, and joyful to the point of tears. The message(s) if needed will come but, for that moment I am with my beloved and my beloved are with me.

Great vid! And I love the whole polarity thing at the end about drawing from a partner to utilise both the masculine & feminine energies in your communing with spirit. I work solitary, but I’m always thinking of ways to include my partner, who is pagan curious. This is an easy way to include him in my workings initially, that doesn’t require much effort on his part. I also really liked the ‘hugging heart to heart’ concept. I realised that I never actually do that! I always choose the right to right cheek, maybe in an unconscious attempt to shield? Another informative, relatable vid👍🏼👏🏼

Been away for some time and came back with this one in my feed. Interesting as I had some insights (as I like to call them) and I saw some random images for a brief moment and wrote them down then went into a drawing that ended up giving me a profound recipe to making poppets based on the ideas of it being a vessel to have and contain spirits if I need to invoke them at will to aid me in my work. I immediately wanted to call it a “doll baby” and learned that these do exist and are far more crudely made than how I was making mine, all of this was channeled and I saw the birthing in my mind’s eye.

Very well explained! I also find channeling to be extremely emotional and most often end up with tears flowing. It to me is a release of a combination of not only my emotions but those of whom I am working with as well and to be truthful, to me it is very healing in nature. I am blessed that my abilities in channeling have came easily to me; It is actually one of the reasons I found this path. I'm quite proud of you for taking on this subject and doing so well with it. As a solitary I've drawn down the moon and invoked my goddess. When I've drawn down the moon I've heard whispers or chatter like when you live in an apartment and can hear your neighbors talking or in my experience having a party but you can't hear what they are saying. When I invoked my goddess I didn't feel her enter my body, but felt her energy wrap around me and hands around the side of my head. I was looking for guidance and found what I was looking for.

My background is in spiritualism, I love that you have shared your experiences. Sadly life moved on for me, however the door is not slammed shut. My problem was the battle of egos and cliques that formed. I cannot see how a totally ego less spiritual search can be achieved.

I channeled Baphomet with my horned 'Devil' mask last night, sat in the hermetic Buddha pose pointing up and down at the same time. And for a split second, I saw and understood it all. The majesty of Gaia, resilient even in defeat. She is all that is dying and broken and all things that grow from the broken and dying. This things I will do when I am no longer hindered by the clay shroud of a physical body!! I will make the unborn kick impatiently against the walls of it's confinement and the chick shuffle in it's egg when I bring it news of the light. Or maybe I will just become a figment of my own haunted thoughts. A dream of a man haunting the sleep of some sleeping animal. Perhaps Coyotes will growl in their slumber as they sense me. To decorate this Spring I used a dremel tool to carve runes into a hollowed out ostrich egg . It is not dry but is getting there , but I did a "freepour acrylic " painting using pastel paints. Once the protective finish dries it will become a candle holder for votives .

I had something happen to me many years ago where a friend of the family was terminally ill and I sort of tried to bargain with the gods to spare rhis person and what happened was I got a visitation or something in my dream they came over and told me that this person was going to die and exactly which day they were going to die and what the symptoms were going to be on the day after I woke up and I felt like I had the flu I feel like I’ve been fighting the entire night and lo and behold a week later I got a call from the friend of the family that this person was blind and were you know their time was up and sure enough they died just as this spirit guide whatever the heck it was told me to is the scariest thing in my life i’ve had close revelations ever since but never spot on this one was spot on to the letter it was the scariest thing in my life

As a physical medium when I channel sometimes I step back and things get intense. People physically see and hear the spirit over my face the while room glows and feels intense. Grew up channeling and surrounded by spirits and never knew how it looked till did a group spell online. (Never thought record yourself) so I could see afterwards how my eyes face voice and then the spirit appeared and why everyone was excited and scared. Any lights explode and the energy in the room amps. One time when my child was close to death it was the only time I publicly lost control. I channeled Hecate in the hospital and while it saved my child the predictions and what happened made the nurse and doctor quit they never worked again she foretold the deaths of their loved ones and basically said as you harmed the mother of a child of mine so will your child die calling for you. She told them the way time of their deaths. Evidently all the hallway lights blew out then when I entered the hospital room it glowed. When I came out of the healing and channeling my child was healed and I was told what happened. As a Chovhani Shaman I had a hard time dealing with what had been foretold. I consulted a shaman friend and he told me dont when your child will die you do everything in your power to save them. The doctor and nurse intentionally harmed her and blocked you and left you no choice. So I came out publicly unintentionally of who and what I was.
