In episode 4, it's time for us to finish our short stop over in Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur.
We fly from KLIA2 to Saigon in Vietnam, where our adventure really starts to kick into gear.
On arrival in Vietnam, we show you what the best SIM cards to get and the cost.
We take a GRAB into the city and show you the cost to District 1.
We then show you our accommodation for our stay in the city, Chez Mimosa Petit, before sampling our very first Banh Mi.
We attempt to cross Saigon's crazy roads before calling it a day.

Ah Gary, you have no idea how cheap things were in some places. Keep with the upcoming videos and you'll not believe some of the prices.
Wow, looks fascinating. I was in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2018 for 6 months teaching English to adults, many students came from all over SE Asia, many Buddhist Monks and Nuns, some from Vietnam. Lovely people. All of them. What a privilege it was. 🇻🇳❤️🇻🇳.

Thanks for writing back! I wrote to you about your GC trip yesterday, my wife's in laws did indeed bring back that sesame seed bird biscuit you had in your hotel room as a present for us, lol! Yes, those 6 months in Sri Lanka were indeed life-changing, these folk have a completely different approach to life, wonderful people. ❤️❤️❤️

It's really eye opening seeing how basic they live their lives in comparison to us. Makes you realise how good we have it really although they seem so happy.
Very cool intro to HCMC. We're heading there in November so it is great to see your first impression on arrival.

Good to see you made it safe and sound. I take it you wont hiring a scooter 🤣 It looks as manic as Bangkok traffic wise. ( the average age of a scooter rider was 19,,,,, sorry showing my age with a Paul Hardcastle pun ) Cracking video again, looking forward to the next one. Stay safe guys and if all else fails Enjoy . 👍👍 ps its hit 20 degrees in Carlisle today, keep sending the sun back

Thabks Andrew, glad you enjoyed it. I think the roads are actually worse than Bangkok. Bangkok is nuts but Saigon is 10 tines more manic. At least there seems to be a bit order in Thailand on the roads, not in Saigon 🤣🤣

Amazingly cheap. Very nice too.
You chose to go to Vietnam biggest over crowd city, Ho Chi Minh city as your vacation. Then you will expect experience traffic, bad driving, pollution, and peddy theft like any other big cities around the world. Instead chosing Danag, Hoi An, Sapa, Nha Trang, Dalat, Ninh Binh, or Hue as your vacation

We only arrived in Saigon and stayed for 2 nights. We saw most of those places which will come in our future videos.
