Even though we returned from Vietnam last Saturday I love watching your travels around Saigon. We were there 4 years ago and the Notre Dame Cathedral was closed to the public then as being restored. Fast forward 4 years and the only thing that has changed is the scaffolding. Lol. The only way you can get into the Cathedral is to attend one of the church services. They have an english speaking mass on Sundays. We stayed at the Rex Hotel for a few nights and it was good 👍 Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Post cards arrived today so i took 11 days. Not so bad

Interesting architecture and apparently still French influence as Marc Levy in Book Street is a French author. Again a nice café! It's kinda late but now I feel like drinking another one, although I wished I had a refreshing one with coconut ice cream, curious about how that tastes hehe Enjoyed it until the end 😄

i find it amazing how much the food tastes different in saigon than it does in say Hanoi. from up to down a difference. my preference is hanoi da nang (hoi ann) looking forward to hearing what you have to say

Thanks for taking us along with your SG trip...especially at the Tan Dinh church (pink church) where I spent most of my childhood life...My house was on the small street (Dinh Cong Trang) across from the church, hic hic you got me in tears.... hope to see more of your videos....Dont worry not only you are on budget ....99.99% travelers are (based on my own youtuber statistic :))lol

It is very nice to live in a city with friendly citizen en many nice public spaces. The walk ways are very cozy, many activities are happening on the street. The old buildings are well preserved and the new building fit in nicely in the city space planning. No wonder that Saigon is attractive for the international tourist, they can accomodate what the tourist lookig for. Nice video and nice capture of the local activities in Saigon.

When I was in Hoi An I loved Cau Lau in the central market. I didn’t spend much time in Ho Chi Minh City but while there I was in Distant 1 and stayed at a home stay with my own room for $20 USD a night.

Loved that cafe and its style. Glad you visited the post office, indeed it is a famous place. I also still buy postcards and enjoy writing them, buying stamps and sending to my family and friends both in Europe and North America.

Don’t know why you try to compare Bali & Vietnam….VASTLY different countries. Bus loads of tourists….that’s not what Bali’s built for. A major city with a population of over 9 million to an island with a population of less than half.
