Found your channel and watched your videos in order and saw the progression. Died at the editing but wanted to toss out a word of advice. Pick up a drill to socket bit and a few 8 inch lag bolts and washers from the hardware store and instead of beating on those stakes for 10 minutes literally drill them into the ground in 2 seconds. Hold is better and saves your back. Also pick up a skillet for pork belly and bacon so it doesn’t flare up and burn your meat. 😂

Thanks Jason! The drill tip was suggested by other viewers as well. It feels like it's a trick everybody knows but me lol 😭 This hatchet will forever have a place in my heart for screwing up my back 🪓♥️ I did end up buying a better hatchet and you can see the preview here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n4aquNlwpaXYqag.html Thanks for watching and for the helpful tip. I really do appreciate it as I'm still new to camping 😊

Thanks for the kind words! First camping trip? You're gonna have a great time 😁😁👍 We only had sleeping bags (rated for 0 degrees C) on top of the cot. For the pillow, we just rolled up our jackets.

I got it from Amazon for around 100 CDN www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08FMTTRB9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Unfortunately it's not being sold anymore BUT if you google image "wooden roll table", you'll see many similar tables. This type of table is very popular in Asia for camping! 😁

This kind of table is called "wooden roll up table". It can be easily broken down for transportation. The top part can be roll up and the legs can be folded. I got mine from Amazon Canada for around 100 CDN.
