Today, at long last, I am the me I remember from the time before I allowed the outside world to define the meaning of “me”. Yay for self discovery.

False self. I have Autism/ Asperger's. Autism is a medically diagnosed disability that means the person is Neuro divergent, communicates, sees and feels the world differently putting them at a communication disadvantage that lowers the persons quality of life especially as it is an invisible disablement. I spend my whole life working hard to appear normal behind a metaphorical mask. It is exhausting and I am experiencing burn out. I have run out of energy. Today I am home alone. I am my true Autistic self as no one is watching. Much Love Rattle Viking. X

You just got to detach your identity from the outcome. I recently went for a forum and while i was exchanging numbers to another delegate - he wanted to know whats best to address my name with - usually most people would save their contacts together with the organisation - therefore it feels like you're attached to your job, so i told him just use my name without any associations and he went like " oh i like you, you are on your own, theres some individualism in you." Is the society norms that creates these "costumes" that makes us lose ourselves in the process, we need to break that norm to to become the person we are truly meant to be - afterall titles only gives us a temporary sensation. Miss TK, speedy recovery - TK is like the cherry on top of the pie. 💕

Get well soon, TK. I like what you are saying about identities. I feel peaceful when I think about my soul belonging to God. I used to live a more selfish life, which made me feel depressed. Thank you for these videos! You are helping us. ❤️

I like to ask people what their passion is, or what is currently bringing them joy. It’s a question that lives more in the present self rather than the constructed image of ourselves we’ve been socialized to present to the world. Wishing TK an easy and speedy recovery. I missed his beautiful voice and concise interjections of wisdom.

Nothing is permanent. All is temporary. Including us. We are born with no identity. Them we are given a name. As we grow our parents our school our friends our jobs tell us who we are. We become what they tell us of who we are. We develop a false sense of self. We want to be accepted and feel that we are normal. What ever that is. We are no one we are nothing we are but an essence. Our bodies are temporary as is our personality. When the body dies so does the mind and ego and personality. So live life with no story. Live life with no identity or live live open and free. Be who you are. Which is just another wave in the sea

This was a brilliant conversation. You had me at, "You are not your age"😅 You guys are on fire in this episode. I hope that TK recovers very soon and I wish that he could have been there to add his voice to this conversation. He's such a beautiful person with an incredible voice and adds so much wisdom to this podcast. Michael Singer talks about this subject brought up by Chelsea and discusses your "inner roommate" in his book The Untethered Soul. The one who is always narrating what you're doing and what you're thinking. If you are really ready to absorb it it can be a life-changing book. I love what you say about expectations. This is spot on and probably the root of most of our suffering. I think this is my favorite episode you guys have ever done❤

This episode was absolutely fantastic! Josh, you were on fire with some brilliant insights and I loved Ryan too, his honesty and questions were very relatable. Malabamma, when TK is absent, I’d just love to see you sitting in that chair and give a woman’s perspective! When you say Hi at the start of each show I’d love to see your face!

At the end of this video, I remembered a dream I had recently: A whole car group of Jdubs were at my apartment (not real) and rummaging through my stuff and making a mess. There's a bit more but my husband gently rocked me out of sleep, "Honey, why are you yelling, "Get out!"? More than just my house needs to be cleaned!

So much truth in this podcast! Totally agree on letting go of expectations. I've realised over time that we can all only give what weve got to give, and some people just dont have what i want them to give. Its freeing to let it all go. Also fully believe we're spirit beings inside our bodies. Such a good conversation ❤

In various Asian cultures, the meaning of your name signifies what your parents want for you, and it is your ultimate decision whether you wish to live up to that name. I know this is true in India, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan, since I'm particularly close to those countries. That name has a very specific meaning. Whether it be to manifest wealth, happiness, knowledge, or something else, that name does have cultural significance.

A better question about getting rid of "career and identity clutter" is at what point do you stop mentioning what you've done in the past that you don't want to do again? At what point do you (Ryan and Joshua) stop talking about the jobs you used to do? At what point do I never mention having been an accountant ever again?
