Every year during the holidays there's much back and forth about Christians celebrating Halloween and Christmas because of their pagan origins. How do we end this debate? Grace and Peace to you. I believe that scripture indicates that eating meat sacrificed to idols was just as much a part of pagan worship as eating the bread or eating the lamb are for the Lord's Supper and Passover respectively. So I do believe that 1 Corinthians 8-10 is applicable to how we should see holidays.
