That 1 Corinthians 6 Scripture I think is also important for Christians to note. Because that highlights the fact that they can still be redeemed into the body of Christ if they repent 🙏🏿 I do believe all sinners should be allowed in church, but serving in church should only be reserved for people have a repentant heart. We all fall short of the glory but there's a difference between being a sinner, and actively choosing to live in it. That's not discrimination, even in the workplace, you only want to promote people to leadership positions who best represent the company's values.

Yes because of false teachings. Also any church that involves itself in political views should be a no go. Sadly most churches have got involved in politics in the past century in an effort to gain more followers at the cost of betraying god and his laws and commandments.

I would say a lot depends on what is being affirmed: if churches affirm gay people are people deserving of God's love, care, provision, and repentence, then that is acceptable. If churches affirm no sin is too lofty or above Christ and his redeeming blood and love, that is acceptable. What is not acceptable for any church to do is affirm any sin and tell somebody it is ok to sin and God is ok with your sin. God is not ok with any of our sins, including all sexual sins.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
