@@wyatt8000 Perhaps, but The Rock and Austin collectively couldn’t draw as much heat as Piper alone. And when Roddy turned face before WMIII, the pops for him going off on Adonis/Flower Shop were insane for that era. It takes the ultimate heel to make an ultimate turn to good; not ping-pongers and tweeners. For me and for a lot of people, characters>>>>> in ring ability. Wrestling isn’t real. It’s a fake fight. People don’t want to see people they don’t care about win. Idc how good you are in the ring if you can’t make me care about you. You can do all the flips in the world and it wouldn’t matter.

Definitely not on the mic because he’s arguably top 5 greatest talkers ever, alongside Austin Rock Y2J and Flair. Man had charisma and could draw in a ton of money. He also had, in my opinion, arguably the greatest storyline of the decade, maybe Taker v HBK and Daniel Bryan vs The Authority was better, with Cena and had my favorite match of the PG era. Enzo should have been a manager for Big Cass. One of the most entertaining personalities, but as a wrestler his ceiling was very low. Poor in ring ability can work for larger wrestlers like John Cena or Goldberg because their selling point is their strength. It doesn’t work for small guys. Give Big Cass a different partner, let Enzo manage them, maybe have occasional 3v3 matches, and you got potential gold.

Not likely. He was one of the most disliked Superstars backstage in the last 20 years. Without Cass or Neville around, there's literally nobody on the roster who would be interested in working with him. Also, people don't really get why he was fired. It wasn't because of the false allegations made by that woman. It was because Enzo knew about the investigation months in advance and said nothing to Corporate about it. Couple that with the fact they knew he was living fast and loose outside of wrestling, and Vince came to the conclusion he was not worth investing in long term. Once the allegations became public it was just a convenient excuse for them to cut ties with someone they viewed as unreliable, reckless, and potentially harmful to the WWE brand. While he was entertaining during his time with WWE, he was never a guy that was gonna carry the company in any meaningful way. Therefore, he needs the WWE a lot more than they will ever need him. I could definitely see him showing up in AEW or something like that, though.
