Cass man from one addict to another congrats on the time. One part you can add to you story is after the first rehab there was no relapse, my sponsor taught me there is no relapse without recovery, if you get out of treatment and get high immediately that's just you kept using. I know that cause it's part of my story too. So proud of you man I'm greatful we have someone in the real recovery in the spotlight 🙏 if you haven't heard Anyone tell you yet today(if you read this) I love you brother....thank you

The biggest lie that you’ll ever tell yourself, and others, is that you can put that bottle down anytime that you want to. Then, when no one is around, reality slaps you in the face as you see yourself in the mirror, with the bottle in your hand, and come to realize that you can’t LEAVE it there. I suffer from a seriously severe Traumatic Brain Injury from 1999 caused by a careless driver that almost killed me. Addiction is a very serious problem that haunts people in my condition and is something that my family and I have to guard against for the rest of my life. I struggle with this on a daily basis and am SO IMMENSELY PROUD of you and all of the work that you’re putting into both your sobriety, and your LIFE. You keep up the great work my friend.

Well cass I will add my part and say I’m 9 yrs sober from pill addiction. It’s amazing to hear u speak about the first time u went to rehab. Cuz honestly that’s exactly how a lot of us thought. The only time it will work is when u yourself are ready and done with that life. If there is one thing I do to this day is talk about my addiction and trying to help others man. Congrats and keep fighting the good fight bro
