I also suffer from depression and anxiety. I have everything I want in life but I still feel like I am failing. People tell me exactly what he said people told him “your just seeking attention.” I don’t want that. It’s a very hard topic to discuss cause people don’t understand mental health. To hear other people talk about there struggles with mental health helps more cause we feel like we are not alone. Thank you big cass for showing people that this is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. The more people become brave enough to talk about their mental issues the less of a stigma it'll become which then more people will be willing to open up about them. It takes an insane amount of courage to say "I'm not ok and need help." That is where true strength comes from.

@@FamineStudios I have a 13-year-old Jack Russell Terrier and a 9-year-old Miki. Both were my Mom's dogs. Mom died in 2017 and my mini dachshund died 4 months later. But Mom's dogs were raised with me as Mom, my husband and I lived together, so they know and love me. Later on, after the Jack Russell is gone, I plan on another mini dachshund and a dalmatian year after that. I grew up with Dalmatians that we showed in the show ring. My dogs are a great comfort to me. Right now, the Jack Russell is battling illnesses so I don't want to bring a puppy in with that. It wouldn't be fair to either dog. Connect with others was the advice my Pastor gave me. He was counseling me on anger issues, but I found that if I could make someone else's day a bit better, it lessened my darker parts of the depression. My background is in psychology, so I knew he was right. You don't have to know the other person. But, start complimenting others (like the grocery store cashier) and you make friends. It's the easiest way I have ever made friends. I sure hope that Big Cass reads this stuff, too. He is brave to tell the world about his struggle. And so are all the people who commented about their own struggles. I pray more for the others than I do for my issues {Except for the dog-she has some serious diabetes, Cushing's disease, and other illnesses related to diabetes. } Hang in there and God bless!

I needed to hear this badly tonight. I go through depression and anxiety. It feels like it never ends. And it doesn’t. And it’s true what they say. It’s hard to talk about it. I opened up with my ex about it and he said “but you look so happy.” Here’s the hard truth: so did Robin Williams. The funniest man ever. A man who had all smiles. Those who go through this hide it so well. I’ve been trying to self medicate but it’s a struggle. I’m sending love to those who go through mental health struggles. I’m with you. Together we will make it. ❤️

This video is so spot on! Thank you Cass for speaking out about your struggles, and how you’re working to change yourself for the better. It’s hard, because as someone who struggles with ADHD and anxiety, it’s hard to talk to people who don’t really understand what you’re going through about it, because you get the same response of “Oh, you’ll be fine” or my personal favorite “You just need to get over it”. Easier said than done. I’m ok with letting people know about my struggles, my only problem is that I struggle dealing with failure (making a mistake at home, work, with my son) I HATE feeling like I let people down!

From what I can tell from the video, Doug Lawson is the man who reached out to Cass before his seizure, DDP is just helping spread the message. But yeah, DDP is saving lives all around the world at this point, not just those of wrestlers. The man is a modern day saint and gives the gift of hope to thousands of broken people who felt they were doomed to always live a life of self-abuse and hopelessness. Very few people in this world today show the amount of compassion for humanity that Page does. I often find myself thinking that world's population is complete shit, but then I remember people like DDP exist and he's not the only one spreading the positivity and focusing his energy on bettering the lives of his fellow man, even if they're total strangers who have reached out to him.

I hope that this poem will talk & help everyone dealing with this mental issue!! Thank you all & God bless!! "DEPRESSION" I'm a mental disease, I affect the young and old, I will take your life and make it feel like a toll, Make you feel like you're less then a person, lonely, Take your passions and dreams, turn them into curses, Then sadness, to even taking your own life!!! I put fear into your head and thoughts, Into a cage of misery, Filling you up was past feelings, Bringing back those favorite events, you so wish you forgotten; I come major, manic, seasonal, I'm very sporadic, I'm born with many names and moods, bipolar is one of my best nicknames, I'm within you, sometimes I come later in life, I make it so, that you're angry and irritable, it's just not right, I affect different people, in different ways, Yet you all have one thing in common, me!!! I will interfere with everything and day in your life, If left alone, I will creep and grow into a life, that takes hold of you into the months, into years, I will crawl into thoughts, to whisper, sweet nothings, so you will end it!!! Happiness doesn't exist, while I'm taking over, I make sure I take care of your every activity, so you stay unhappy!!! I help you find faults in your life, things, loved ones and people, make you frustrated at the small things, yourself, loved ones and people; I will have you focused when the smallest matters, issues, make you disturbed with what matters, so that I block you from ever achievement or seeing the bigger picture!!! I will take your fun and have you, unable to ever experience this, yes you may put on your mask, to smile and fit in, but I still keep you in a poor state of mine, the feeling of loving yourself or having intimacy, is what I truly love to take over and live; this is what I call home, you may call me depression. written by Timothy Payton 7/7/17 © ALL COPYRIGHTS RESERVED

@@lobokujo7825 thank you it was a nightmare but it needs to stay in the past the last 6 years IV not had a single full night sleep and that's not an exaggeration IV been to counciling, psychologists, suicide bereavement meetings IL say this IV never been suicidal never cut or hurt myself i just fucked shit up with the old unintentional self sabotage and that's were the weed doesn't help I even tried hypnotherapy if I could get the weed to fuck I'd be such a more productive person

Never liked his gimmick as a tag team wrestler, but after watching this, I have a whole new level of respect for this man. I sincerely hope you stay on the right path to enlightenment and never give up, Big Cass. You just earned yourself a new fan. I hope one day I have just as much courage to face whatever it is I'm going through and come out of it stronger than ever.

@Tha Real Mccoy I was born with a physical condition called Cerebral palsy or more commonly known as CP. Due to this condition I have a lot of physical problems. I don't wanna get into those because the list is too long In 2010 through 2013 my health was getting really badd I had to deal with multiple operations during that time and nothing was going right in my life. So after a while when you're going through all this negative/badd stuff physically It starts to get to you mentally and emotionally. And I just wanted everything to stop Like I have a amazing family and I have everything I could want in my life but like I felt as if no one was really understanding what was going on with me and I just wanted everything to stop nothing really mattered. However I just had a serious heart-to-heart conversation with myself and I said with everything that I've gone through already in life I'm still here for a reason let me keep moving forward and accomplish as many goals as I can before I actually do die.

You are a brave man!thanks for sharing your story.i am a HUGE wwe fan and have missed watching you in the ring...but what I care about more is your mental well being.i have PTSD with severe anxiety...not depression but can relate to just not wanting to wake up.i hope someone can take away something positive from your openness and honesty and get help for themselves. Take care big cass💚💚💚

Until people go through it they stay ignorant about mental health, it's a demon in your head that you can't control at times but you have to fight it or it will win and devour your self worth and the beauty of life. To all of you going through it I hope you kick depression and anxiety in the balls and tell it YOU WON'T WIN!
