Notice how they started getting more Indy talent and worldwide stars after dusty passed. Enzo was in the last class to truly be legitimately trained the right way! NXT isn’t developmental anymore it’s a BRAND.

Nothing wrong with grabbing talent off the indies and elsewhere, they've always done that. The problem is, like you said, they aren't being trained to cut good promos or how to bump and sell properly, how to pack a house. What WWE used to do is take a rough product off the indies and make it sharp, now they take a rough product off the indies, teach them how to wrestle safely and that's it. No building up on the promos, how to tell a story or anything. NXT is a WWE indy style now

The saddest thing is that if Dusty Rhodes were trying to break into the business today, he probably wouldn't make it. Fans today are too concerned with "work rate" and technical execution. And proprietors are too concerned with body type. Dusty was a legend who just totally got what the business was about. There may not have been a better promo guy, ever.

Enzo would have fit very well in the Attitude era. Sucks he had his troubles and had to leave the WWE. Glad everything is working out for him so far. Enzo has had some of the best promos in years. The Larry Bird of Wrestling. Best trash talker in a long time. Best ones are hard to tell if their kidding or not. WWE is too green deal nowadays. Really needs a 1000 horsepower engine again. Dusty was great. So is his family

But isn't that how they put each other over. The bad guy disrespects them and the good guys redeem themselves with wins. Well, maybe in the 80's. Enzo would have been a better fit in the WWE's Attitude era. CM Punk as well. Imagine an Enzo and Stone Cold rival and the promo's they would have made against each other.

King Que I’m interested to understand why bringing back del rio would be an effective option, because I think they have the talent to bolster their mid-card and have fresh match ups. I mean if they can build it right I don’t see why some of the guys in the mid card can’t be top title contending challengers. Example being Kofi getting this major push recently.

Nibz I don’t know the reason why I remember reports of Vince in talks with him and him saying he would like to come back that’s why he apologized to HHH but I agree they have a stacked roster that they don’t do anything with that could be big mid carders or even possible be world title contenders
