The lyrics were written for people four years after 1812 brought war and starvation to Europe ... impoverished water shippers near Germany Austria. So they got a rich concert for free by God using one song. The poet was a young priest whose father did not claim their relationship. Raised by single mother. Maybe longing for better closer.... never leaving relationship.... is there by intimacy of manger birth and provision for knowing Creator and plan for each. Especially living in world demanding second chances, the conscience-less way to relieve tension in unmoving world. The priest probably should be a saint in Roman Catholic tradition. It's in Irish. I learned this at school in Infants. It's in the Irish language. In Ireland we speak Irish or as Gaeilge. Gaelic is a Goidelic group of Celtic languages, particularly the Celtic language of Scotland, and the culture associated with speakers of these languages and their descendants. Scots speak Gaelic we Irish speak Irish.

My favorite Christmas hymn and very favorite version, even in Gaelic!! Gorgeous and ethereal! I feel like one of the shepherds watching an angel sing!

I love Christmas because it is the celebration of Jesus' birthday irrespective of when he was literally born (I can't find December 25 on any Hebrew calendar). I stopped calling myself "christian" because it has been assigned too many "zionist overtones" which is more of a philisophical ideology which in my opinion has nothing to do with Jesus, his teachings, or his promise of salvation. But, that said, I am irreversibly committed to God through Jesus as I'm sure you are as well from what you wrote. I love this music too. Like you, the music and the spirit within it, belongs to Jesus and that is worth celebrating regardless of any calendar or arbitrary date. Slante.

@@AquaFonic actually an exceptional astronomer whose name escapes me now showed an alignment of planets in Leo at the time of Jesus’ birth beginning on December 25th and the alignment peaked on the 27th. The star Regulus was in retrograde and factually passed through Virgo and Leo to meet the alignment on the 25th. It may have actually been what the Wisemen followed presuming that part of the story was true? All of that Despite the Pagans stealing anything. Unto us was born a King “The Lion of Judah (Leo) from a Virgin mother.” (Virgo)

It’s Irish Gaelic differs slightly from Scottish Gaelic my grandparents taught me both as a kid as they were Irish and Scottish it’s beautiful sadly not spoken as much nowadays XBX

@@AquaFonic Don't they have the Gaeltach there-to preserve the language; it's be a shame to lose Gaelic over time. I used to sing "Stille Nacht" while others sang it in English. It'd be great if we had a choir doing it in differing languages together.

@@AquaFonic I saw an astronomer who was able to track the alignment of stars back thousands of years even to the birth of Christ and indeed there was a retrograde of the star regulus at that time and it traveled through Virgo and Leo and was in alignment with some other stars or planets? I’d have to go find it again it was many years ago. But in fact it reached its peak over Bethlehem on December 25th. So who knows unless you were there? I don’t know if you know this but the star Regulus was actually called the star of kings and regulus I believe was taken from Rex which is also king. Thus just as T- Rex was the king of dinosaurs or at least so they though when they named it. So the three wise men Balthasar, Melchior and Casper could have indeed followed it. Think about it the star of kings goes through the virgin and the Lion Leo. Thus unto a virgin was born a king the Lion of Judah.

Sorry but this is a common mistake Irish is sometimes referred to as “Gaeilge” we pronounce it Gwal-gah, but it is not Gaelic; Gaelige is the name of the Irish language in Irish. Like its Gaelic cousin, both are Indo-European languages, but Irish is actually a language unto its own..... I hope you don't mind me saying....

We are never truly alone when we have Jesus as our Savior & Lord. He is the great Comforter, the Prince of Peace.🕊🙌 Give your heart to Him this Christmas. He gave us the best Free Gift Ever! Eternal life w/Him in Glory, if we choose it/Him. If you belong to a church, many times someone will invite a single who’d otherwise be alone, to their home. A woman in my bible study is having 6 ppl, who’d otherwise be alone, over for a wonderful dinner & fellowship together. Another woman offered the same. So they decided to combine it. 8 total, w/an open invite to whoever else may show. Plenty of food & desserts will be there. No gift exchange. The gift is the friendship & fellowship. And the joy of celebrating our Salvation w/our King.🙌 Invite Him into your heart today, after acknowledging Who He IS, & being remorseful of your sins against His Holy Father...& ours. Time’s short. You’ll want to keep Jesus near.✝♥No One Loves you more.♥

Now it's 24 and probably all alone during Easter. Unfortunately. Especially with no luck in everything in life, so...yea. Maybe one day, maybe soon...will be completely new family.
