What many people don't know is that her recording of Oíche Chiúin is all the way back from 1992! I've been listening to her since the old days of The Celts, Watermark, etc. She inspired my own music career & learning the Irish language. This music is so timeless - it will still sound this amazing 100 years and beyond from now - so much love & thanks for posting these songs :)

I am recovering from a bad fall from a ladder. In a studio apt to be near my daughter & multiple Doctors. Enjoying Enya immensely as I recover with numerous broken bones & brain bleed. Enya's music is a connection way to heaven ... If you open your heart and you do more than just listen, then you will be able to feel heaven.

I remember my father through these songs. He left me and my mother at holy Christmas night, last year. Respected Madame Enya's awesome melodies bring back those moments and feelings of that night. We're Indian and Hindu religion, but it's very strange that after few days at his funeral night my mother dreams him wearing a snow white dress and a white crown of flower on his head. He was speechless, just shaking me and my mother's hands, and vanished forever. Christmas is a touchy memory to us.

Missy Glitter Vlogs yes, it was 1988 when I first saw her on a video on tv in an hotel in Amsterdam, Orinoco Flow. Then we went to Ireland on a tour and the Tour Guide played her in the coach, it was beautiful, and they were so,proud of her. She started recording in her garden shed. She was late with a band called Clannad, then went it alone.

Enya's voice has always been so soothing and calm, in her recent songs of the past, and during this ongoing battle with COVID-19, her music is definitely one to listen to, during our rough future with it. Enya, thank you for being one of the classic voices of reason, with your songs, and with your divine spirit. Bless you and may you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Oíche Chiúin (Silent Night) - Silent Night was my Grandmother's favourite hymn. When she passed away at Christmas many years ago we played this hymn at her service. To this day I can not listen to this song in any language without tears of memory of an Angel on earth who is now an Angel in Heaven. This is the most beautiful version ever. Thank you. I listened to Enya every night and her soothing voice helped me through troubled times. Clannad are also so amazing, thank you for your beautiful angelic music.

I went crazy when she posted a photo on Instagram a couple of days ago. She uses to appear (when she does) during this season time. My head exploded thinking that she had definitely came back. It is good enough to know she’s still around. I got very sad and concerned when her father passed alway back in 2016, right after the release of her last studio album. I kept on checking her website daily since then. On this Christmas I could wish her nothing but happiness and joy. Hope she is well and taking care of herself. I just love what she and Roma did to my life throughout their music and poetry. XX

Some of her songs do reference Paganism which was something the Irish believed prior to Catholicism. She has an album called The Celts for goodness sakes. I also think Enya is a bit creepy. Her song melodies are amazing though. I still follow her on facebook which is where I saw her repost that pic from 2015 album.
