I'm a lawyer, "I did it because I thought I could get away with it". Brilliant legal maneuvering on her part.

Driving impaired with a child in the car should make the DUI a felony, and anyone who does this should be charged with endangering a child. A conviction should require a parent to wear an alcohol monitor for 5 years. Putting children at risk, in any way, needs to start being taken much more seriously by our justice system.

@@DSAfgv I don't know what the policy is in Florida but in a lot of states, the police would notify CPS for follow-up. We wouldn't know that without seeing the incident report.

Her non compliance is her guilt. She knows she’s impaired and she’s stalling.

I get it when some cops get a bad rap , but these officers should be commended for the way they treated this woman with great patience. You can tell they are very well trained to handle people under the influence . I hope the parents are proud of how they serve the community. Being an officer is a dangerous job . These young officers should get a raise. God bless each one .

This is why body cams are important. Not only to hold officers accountable, but also show us the biggest pieces of shit in our society.

And while its never good to drive while intoxicated, I understand people make mistakes and it shouldn't ruin their life as long as they didnt cause any damage or injure anyone. But when you get multiple DUIs it shows you havent taken accountability and you have not changed your mindset. Those are the people that are dangerous and as far as im concerned they should all do prison time. Multiple DUIs within a certain period of time should result in a year in prison and intensive probation

An you have a viable argument that she could be lying about the 0.0. The part where they stop at the end looks more set up. Every cop that's trained in this know how to do it on their own. For this male cop who gets the female cop to help is sus enough. More that he is tall and she is short and she is holding the flashlight for him. It is clear this woman is triggered by that female cop. Having her there was only going to keep the woman distracted and I believe they knew that. No but he's making an ill-formed guess. Neither of you know the law or the full circumstances of the case. Those charges are just what she pled to, not necessarily her original charges. You WANT it to be about race because it confirms your beliefs about law enforcement. There are countless bodycam videos in which suspects of all races are given light charges and sentences. That's how it is in America, they are extremely tolerant of crime and incivility. Where I live, it's unheard of to have people with multiple DUIs not in prison, let alone allowed to drive. @@lukim2744
