4 Story: that is literally one of the descriptions of a narcissist. He literally just want to feel powerful, he wants to be a god, he wants to be in control. 2nd story: Yeah, I would have dropped the nice act on day 2. An introvert with a low capacity social battery and very short temper... and you want to force me into inane chatter before I'm even awake. I'd have screamed 'shut the f*ck up' immediately after the 3rd obvious hint of me not responding. And that's just the inane chatter part.

Story 4: we all know fi OP actually acts like he wants her to he will tell her to suck it up. Story 2: OP’s boyfriend is big poop for not comforting of trying to at least help OP.

My mother’s mother hated my dad. She was constantly harassing them to the point where they would unplug the phones at night just so she wouldn’t hold them up, apparently in the old phones there was some way she could call them and even if they hung up they couldn’t end the call unless she hung up to and she’d leave her phone off the receiver just too keep their line busy. She threw tea in my dad’s face once but fortunately it had gone from hot to warm by then. He calls this story the day he learned God has a sense of humor, because after this he threw my grandmother out, went to his Bible, asked for guidance and help, opened it to a random page and here’s what he read, “It is better to live on a corner of a roof then a house shared with a contentious woman.” It wasn’t what he was hoping for but it made him laugh and that turned out to be what he really needed at the time. It all came to a head when my grandmother came to their house with one of my uncles, John, and tried to make my mother come with them while my dad was at work. My mom actually had to call the police who told her they could only make her leave by force if she pressed charges in which case they’d have to arrest my grandmother and as my grandmother was being stubborn even with the cops their she said if her mother continues to refuse she would press charges which finally get her mom to leave. John went into my mom’s room too stare daggers at my mom but she just said, “Don’t even start with me John, just get out!” But the really crazy part is by the time I came into the mix my maternal grandmother’s relationship with my dad was better then the one with my mother! Familial relationships can be tough, but they can improve given time.

In regards to the second story: I highly suggest you find a different place to live even if it takes you over a year. if you are living in a place that causes you immense mental distress then it isn't worth living there. also I highly suggest that the original poster dumps her boyfriend when she is certain she has a place to go and yell at everybody in the house and telling them how much of a terrible time she's had and that's all of them can go suck on grapes. especially yelling at the grandma for being such an invasive person when somebody wants to be left alone! as somebody who likes their privacy I would go ballistic if I was in this situation. Their emotions aren't wrong him and his friends seem incredibly immature most guys would be glad to be able to spend a couple hours playing video games with earbuds are having a game of basketball or whatever it is they do and not have them lying about you don't spend enough time with me instead he whines about the opposite that you're not whining good grief!

I'm really confused about story 02 and its reactions? I actually was kind of against OP until she said the grandma was coming into her room and touching her things and that her bf is not on her side. Now I just think they all sound like hard people to be around. OP started this by saying grandma's discussion about milk and humidity is pushing her to a breaking point, but that is like? Not even a negative comment? It's not even rude, it's annoying at best. It sounds like grasping at straws. And then she talks about how she has social anxiety and mild OCD but then near the end says how she doesn't want to go see a therapist?? This woman is 31 years old and an old woman's comment about food expiration dates and the weather is making her afraid to leave her room, she absolutely needs to seek therapy. That comment from her bf has merit even if it was said rudely. And I think it is time for her to leave her bf. I may think her reasons for this reaction are silly, but I am allowed to, I'm a stranger on the Internet who can only hear her half of the story, but this situation is very clearly affecting her negatively and her boyfriend is continuously dismissing her, which no doubt is contributing to her breaking point. If he doesn't want to accept her or take her feelings to account and continuously choose his family over her, she can clearly see where she stands in his heart and in his hierarchy of his family and she should leave him. A dismissive partner is not going to help her, it's only gonna cause her more harm. I hope this shows that she sees that if she stays, then this treatment from her and his family is going to be the norm for her. But the way she keeps making excuses to not leave (a.k.a. excuses to stay in this situation) because there are just no houses anywhere apparently in the entire country or that she doesn't personally agree with every single law of her home country (who does?), idk, it sounds like she just wants to complain instead of actually do something about it.
