That thing about Emma lying about cheating reminded me of when I was 20 and at a party and a woman lied about me trying to sexually assault her or something because she didn't know everyone else there was aware that I'm Asexual and even then I have a romantic preference for guys so she wound up having a hard time because while I didn't press charges, like 12 people there ruined her reputation by calling her out on social media and she lost her job.........I laughed.

Emma is the reason why men these days no longer offer helping hands to women. Once, it was common for random men to assist women in need, even for everyday tasks. Now, most men would rather ignore a woman being crushed under a weight than risk having their entire lives fall apart.

Is sad (the life-ruining part) and true. I think it's a good thing though that chivalry is dying. Women are either regarded as competent equals or treated as helpless and vulnerable dependents (in my opinion you can't have both - it's either egalitarianism / equity or subjugation, not "equal but some more equal than others/privileged" aka double standards and oxyMORONIC) and I'm sick of the capitalist, utilitarian mindset regarding men that is propagated by the ignorant, toxic and indoctrinated alike. Y'all get demonized for just looking out for yourself as "selfish" then taken advantage of with severely delusional entitlement ("risk your life for me cuz you hang and swing (male) and while I sit and swoon! My response to story 1: I am from an American family, but i can tell you... i grew up in a messed up strict religious family, and though my life isnt remotely similar to OP's, i know the sheer grief what misguided family dynamics can put one through... might be why i cried almost. I also know the frustration being falsely blamed can do, and that can happen in so many different life situations, as i saw what can happen when lies hurt people. So, to me, i think at least its highly possible with how tear inducing it is, its highly possible that at least part of that story is true. Even if its very detailed post, which is a thing that seems to make readers ponder validity of a persons life as if its well-rehearsed story in a post, i think one has to look passed that to remember how hard it is to forget trauma even after healing. scars last long times, physically and mentally. So, OP, if your reading, i believe you, and give you, and people with even remotely similar issues, my sincerest sympathies. Also, i think i understand wanting to reconnect with your family despite issues since you want them to believe you and welcome you back, but i wouldnt do it unless they admitted they were wrong, and werent just trying to ease their own senses of guilt (which is often the case)... so tread carefully, or just tell them to f*** off. ... Best wishes for you and your wife. Be safe, amigo. 😊

I am sorry- but if I wanted to read a romance novel, I would have (and for the record, I pretty much only read non-fiction and hard science fiction). This reads (or listens...) like a fan-fiction writer decided to make themselves the main character this time!

The Telenovela in the first story was just as basic as every Telenovela I've ever watched I mean even the ending was rushed and didn't make any sense 😂😂😂 not to mention the twins, the evil woman, the horrible mother, the cheating brother / probably cheating wife 🤣🤣🤣
