That's just like trying to get a job you going to the interview and then they tell you know we're not going to hire you but can you just hang around anyway, just because.

Story 2: OP is the jerk. She kept the “friend” around for attention and validation. She never cared about him. It was not until he started to exercise his other options that she suddenly “cared”. All this shows is trying to be the super nice guy does not work. -- Story 3: Not going to lie…OP needs to break up. There is no point in talking. There also is nothing to figure out. The Gf’s friend had a divorce and is probably going through a h*e phase and is dragging OP’s girlfriend along for the ride. Meaning that the girlfriend is being influenced by this and considering the GF is ignoring OP; it’s best to break it off. -- Story 4: how is the BF a jerk? He asked OP to do something. OP said sure without double checking the location. OP then makes a series of bad choices that makes their situation go from bad to worse. None of that is on the boyfriend. What is with this bias from AITJ?

I hope this story gets into a vid: So, to begin, I’m a female well over 10 years. So this happened a few weeks ago. I was in my math class taking a test. The next day, my teacher showed us our scores. I was shocked to see that I had a big fat “F” on my paper. All the questions had been marked correct but clearly the “F” should’ve been an “A”. I asked: “Uhm, miss, I think the marking is wrong. If all the answers are correct, why did I fail?” The teacher looked at me and said, “Well OP, I’m your teacher and I give the grade that I want to give and I fail the students that I want to fail.” I was confused. How did I pass but fail just because she says so? “But with all due respect, that’s not the correct grade and you could lose your job.” She snarled and said, “Do I look like I care? They can’t fire me because my family is rich and I can sue them.” She’s a woman well over her teenage years, around her early twenties, but to imply that she can sue the school, because she got fired, because she didn’t put a correct grade was stupid. Karen teacher: “Go back to your desk before I have you suspended.” I was mad but I didn’t lash it out. Instead, I walked back to my seat like a rational person. She then said: “How dare you have attitude! You should respect me, I’m your teacher!” “What do you mean, Karen teacher? I’m just normally walking back to my seat.” She was furious and said, “You know what, I’m giving you detention for speaking that way! Here’s your pass and now leave!” She threatened to have me expelled for such unruly behavior when I did absolutely nothing! I walked to the principal’s office and tried to explained but before I could speak, he snatched the pass and scoffed out of disbelief. “OP, how dare you disrespect a teacher? You could easily get suspended for this!” I tried to explain as best as possible but he was too stubborn. “You know what we do to students like these, OP? We fail them in every class! I am so disappointed in you. You are dismissed.” And just like that, every teacher had received an email, and my mother, too. I explained to her what happened and she was furious. She told my father everything. The next day, it felt like the walk of shame while I was getting to class. Everyone, including the teachers had given me a stare. My best friend was sick that day so I had nobody to talk to. Later on, one of my teachers received an email,. I had no idea what is was until I got called to the office. My mom was standing there, looking at me with disbelief. “I’m so disappointed in you.” She started. “To act up at a teacher? To talk back? That is certainly not how we raised you to be!” My father walked in, and slightly shoved me while taking a seat. “I didn’t do anything wrong!” My mother hushed me up so the principal could speak. He started, “Usually, this behavior isn’t commonly seen in students. I might suggest that you speak with her teachers, she may be having a problem with one of them.” I scoffed and my mother gave a stare that clearly implied, “shut the f up and wait until we get home”. I cried the rest of the way because I knew what was happening. When we got home, my parents started intensely looking for new schools and I immediately knew what was going on. They were going to transfer me to a school very far away. “So sweetie, we were looking into-“ I scoffed loudly and said, “It’s not my fault. My math teacher started the problem! She failed me even though I got everything right! She said she would sue the school if she got fired for failing me! And you still think I’m the problem? How horrible parenting!” And with that, I ran out of there and locked myself in my room. A week later, they found a new school for me and were taking me to see it. It was horrible. And that’s when I realizing it was a behavior school. My parents were excited and really loved the place. We went to meet with the principal. He looked like he was a drill sergeant. “Hello. Welcome to-. I’m the principal and it is a pleasure to meet you. So, you were looking to apply your daughter into this school because of previous events?” My parents delightedly nodded and said, “Yes, we believe this school would be perfect to teach our daughter some discipline.” I blurted, “It wasn’t my fault that my math teacher is evil!” My mother pulled me down to the chair and hushed me up. We got a tour and picked up my uniform. From that day forward, I was determined to get myself expelled. Just 2 days into my new school, my parents received a phone call explaining on how I was horrible. They had to remove me from the school and start homeschooling me. I desperately explained to my parents the situation until they finally understood how bad it was. They rushed over to my old school and intensely spoke with the principal about the situation. The principal was enraged and entered Karen’s math class. The teacher got intensely scolded by both my parents and the principal. She was fired and threatened to sue the school but ended up losing the case. And now I’m back in the school with a better math teacher and earned back my grades.

For 1, fuck your parents, they're toxic af. 2 fuck your principal, he's a douchebag who should've listened to you and allowed you to show him your paper with all the right questions and the F grade. 3 fuck your math teacher, I mean what a fucking bitch. 4 one day when you're older and not under your parents thumb to where you won't get into trouble for telling them off, you should seriously tell them how messed up it was of them to treat you that way. And finally if my parents did that and put me into a behavior school, I would've done everything I could think of to earn it and been a demon to them at home. My parents almost did put me into a bad behavior school once because my mom didn't like that I disagreed with her on a few topics and my dad didn't want to deal with my mom being a batch to him so he was just gonna go along with it and let it slide. So I feel for you (my story isn't the same as yours, but I can relate to how frustrating it is to be treated so unfairly and I'm sorry you dealt with that)

The first teacher was a my teacher for a class where we could get our work caught up. I can’t remember the name of the class. He let everyone else have a break to calm down and have fun with the laptops that was given to us by the school for the year. Meanwhile I was made to sit still and do all my work in one go. He even said some condescending things to me. It literally took me having a mental breakdown along with a panic attack to get out of his class. The second teacher was my computer science teacher. Now during my last school year I had his class. But we had to go to remote learning because of Covid. And of course. Me with my stupid ADHD brain forgot about the class for a couple weeks. Until I got a call from my mother screaming at me about skipping class. So I was really scared about falling this class so when we got to do in person learning. I threw myself into learning all the stuff I missed. And when I asked for help he’d always do it in a condescending and angry manner. Which made me feel stupid and guilty that I’m causing trouble. Then at the beginning of the last month of school. I asked him for help and he did. Then after he said “I’m not going to help you anymore.”

Why does story 2 read like it's the friend writing it from the girls perspective, assuming her feelings.

And even removing his romantic interest from the equation, it sucks when you're hanging with a friend and they ignore you to text other people. 1st Story, COVID is rarely fatal but you feel like HELL. 2nd Story, don't know what you have until it's gone. By then it's too late. 3rd Story, I can personally relate to this on EVERY level. Trust me dude, she's gonna fall into the 10%.

Story number 2 OP, I'm sure you're getting a lot of hate comments for your story, you did him dirty, and you realize that and regret it. I don't think anyone's gonna be focusing on the fact that you want to make things better and treat him better. I can see 2 possibilities for you. Either 1 you're not romantically into him, and in which case you need to let him go be with someone else. Or 2 you want to try dating this boy who's incredibly kind to you. If it's the 2nd option here's what you need to do, you need to write down a list of literally everything you appreciate about him and after that write down the little quirks he has that you know about him, one day very soon go to him and tell him you're sorry for the way you've treated him, he's right that it's been a 1 sided friendship but that you want to make it 2 sided and maybe more than just friends. Ask him to hear you out and IF he says ok, take him to that spot he took you to ask you to the dance, tell him you regret not going with him and that you should've went with him, and then list off all those things you wrote down (bring the paper with you and read it to him) about all of the things you appreciate and all the quirks you know about him. It wouldn't be bad if you also included things he's allergic to, things he likes and doesn't like, great moments for the both of you in your friendship. But make sure the first things in the list are all the things you appreciate about him. Anyway after reading the list tell him again you're sorry for how you've treated him and that if he gives you a chance to be better that you will be, and see if he'd be willing to go on a PUBLIC 1on1 DATE (the point of the date is to show that you're happy to be seen romantically interested in him no matter who sees it). That boy has wanted you for years and you've been stringing him along, if you want him then show him, tell him, and ask for him in the way he's wanted to be with you all this time. And IF he says yes and you 2 start dating and become a couple, then you can let go of the guilt you feel about how you treated him, but definitely don't ever treat him like that again. If you try this out, then be the good person he wants and be fully committed to him and the relationship until you either both fall in love or it fizzles out. No more games, no playing him, no other guys, just the 2 of you together in a respectful relationship. If you don't want that with him then don't go for it and let him move on.

Nah bro the second option isn’t usable. When the friend asked the op “what do you like of me?” She literally stutter. Plus she literally was sad that he wasn’t around anymore to be her ego booster. She literally admitted to ignoring him when he came for advice on girls, but when she needed help he was all ready. The chances of them getting together is small as it is, now we need to think about them ACTUALLY going on a date or being gf and bf. The friend has dodged a large bullet because she definitely sounds the type of partner to accuse you of cheating when you never did and emotionally manipulate you. Plus i would bet you she would cheat in not even 2-4 months in the relationship because “he wasn’t there for me” or some other bs excuse.

3rd story: Oh yes OP's gf doesn't need a man in her life! Except for cleaning after her, paying the bills, s** and support.
