@paulhumphrey3402 It's obligatory to go through on exit although I guess until recently not on entry. I think this must be quite new. Certainly didn't get checked on our last 2 visits. We'll bring you with us ;-) xx

Brilliant watching your video for future reference, feeling nervous about Morocco but would love to do it. I got confused when you said you had something for 30 days, but you get 4 months in Morocco? How long was the ferry crossing also? Thanks guys 👍

@@adventureswithangelaandwayne Hi Guys, it took hour and a half. You get a three month visa automatically but can easily get an extention from any police station which is what we're going to do.

Love your videos. I'm planning on touring around the UK, Europe as well as Morocco starting summer of 2024. Have you guys looked into going across Algeria and Tunisia then taking the ferry up to Italy? Looks like it would make a nice loop, but not sure about the border crossings.

Ah thank you, glad they're helpful. No we haven't explored either. Relations between Algeria and Morocco are tense at best, with still a military presence along the border. That's not to say you shouldn't or couldn't. The other thought might be to cross to Girona from Tangier Med. Enjoy your trip, it sounds fabulous. x

what a nice video! I am curious about your experience at Moroccan customs. I heard that a new law was recently passed that strictly controls household items. it would be prohibited to bring in household items. did you notice anything about that?

Hi Louis, nothing affected us. That might be through Cueta as we hear they are more strict than through the Moroccan border. x

Hi Freya, and a warm welcome to our channel. We bought 3rd party insurance for our vehicle as our UK insurance doesn't cover us for Morocco. x

@@TheMotoroamers Hi thank you so much, I did not realise that. What about breakdown whilst you are there, sorry for all the questions, but your channel is the best for information, again thank you so much.

@FreyaRae hi again, it's no problem. It's why we create these videos. It's worth checking with your insurance provider as there are a couple that do offer green cards; Saga and LV are two that we know of. Again, unfortunately, whichever provider your with, they'll breakdown won't cover you. That said Morocco is probably the best place to breakdown as everyone has an uncle, father or some other relation who will be able to recover you and mend you. We make sure that we have a couple of Puncture Tyre kits in case of a tyre issue. Otherwise, locals will always help you. Hope that helps. Also here's a link to our free eBook that comprehensively covers everything you need to do before you go and what to expect when you're there. kx motoroaming.com/magical-mystery-tour-of-morocco-by-motorhome/
