We are looking to visit Morocco, our insurance doesn't do a green card , so is it just a case of buying insurance and import registration as you did? And which port did you land in? Thanks for the vlog .

Hi Michael, yes it is. You could call Sterling Insurance who offer comprehensive cover, although it is eye-wateringly expensive. We had a quote for 3 months for our 7 year old vehicle for £950. So worth a try. Otherwise yes, insurance once you are across Morocco - we crossed at Tangier Med. There are cabins for insurance and money exchange on the left-hand side as you leave the main Border Control armed with your D16. You will need either Sterling or Euros cash to pay for the insurance. It cost us €200 for three months on third party cover. Kx
