FIBRE LASER WITH EXPANDED CAPABILITIES
Amada presents a breakthrough in the field of fibre laser metal cutting technology. Using variable beam control technology developed by Amada, the new ENSIS 2kW fibre laser can manufacture mild steel products which could previously only be cut using a 4kW laser source.

good product
So we have been cutting with this laser for almost 2 years now and all of a sudden the burr on the 316 cold rolled is terrible, even with all the normal things checked and replaced. Nozzle, lenses etc. Even back at start-up default cut conditions and not helping. Anyone have any ideas?

Nozzle center, contaminated gas? 3/16 needs Oxygen gas, not nitrogen. 3/16 is pretty thick. How many Watts is your laser, anything below 2k you will need oxygen.
