Yeah, the only reason I even thought of the Shelf as a step was due to me figuring out you could use them as Stair treads for open stairs.

This is really nice! I did something similar when building in Conan Exiles where I put down 3 door frames, 2 of which had fences placed inside, to create a large window on either side of the door (window, door, window.) This was done in the back corner of a small cave build, so the area was a little over a block in size (I left the natural stone in the back.) Then I used curtains to make it more private, while not totally closed off. Then, I placed a single wide bed, a stool to serve as an end table, and added some decor I got from mods. It looked really good, IMHO. I love the idea of a bed nook in a larger 'master' bedroom that also has a fireplace, seating for reading and relaxing, and another area for private dining. Unfortunately, I never got it filmed, so I cannot show it off. Really enjoying your series on creating interesting custom looks using miscellaneous object! It's both creative and inspiring. I've been posting them on the Enshrouded section of my gaming Discord.

@@delindsay I think I might do what in the build-rebuild, actually- I am am restoring and customizing an existing area in the game, that I am slowly working on.

All these beautiful little details that you and I and many of us put into the game did not matter one little bit. Hopefully there's a future with better contests.

... Yeah. I won't lie, I have next to zero intention of entering another Enshrouded build contest after this one. They'll have to change a BUNCH of how it was handled for me to want to deal with the stress of it all to enter again.

I didn't watch the live stream on Twitch no, but I had Discord up the entire time and was responding there. I'm certainly not happy with how the entire thing was operated and I seriously hope Keen Games has learned a bunch of lessons from this Contest and they fix a bunch of things if they ever hold another.
