For a single hab, maybe $1 at most. No way is this worth $10. Will not get it.

In the description of the Mod, the author states that NO modification was made to Cockpits, Dockers or Landing Bays. That means you don't need to place anything in those locations. Doing so would likely cause issues.

That's the real frustrating thing I found about the ship building part of the game. Isn't there a way to view the interior of the hab modules before you select/install them? It seems like you had to go through all of the fuss to set this up just to get a preview. Thanks for the effort, regardless. 🙂
@delindsay2 күн бұрын
100% correct and one of 2 main issues people take with Starfield's Ship builder. The lack of a preview option and no ability in the base game to place Doors/Ladders where we wish.
@ViperKnight942 күн бұрын
Watch out for this one. It wrecked my ship last night. It worked when I tore all the habs out of my ship and made all empty habs but I didn’t the like the look of it so I tried to remove all the habs and put vanilla ones back in and anytime I would go to save shipbuilder would crash the game. Happened like 5 times. I even had to go as far as deleting the actual mod off my load order, deleting saves since loading it, and reloading a save before I downloaded it. I don’t have that many mods turned on and I put this one as 2nd in my load order to try to make it work.

I just thought about something while looking at the wall at 4:47, seeing how curved the walls is and the 3 thick wall beams on each wall.. it would be cool if there was like hab modules (kitchen, beds, toilet, storage, workbenches, terminals, ...) which could snap to the space between those thick wall beams. It would be cool if all habs were empty habs by default and any crew capacity or passenger slots were instead determined by which "hab modules" were attached to the walls. I think it would make the current hab system a lot more interesting. It was just a thought. Edit 1: It would also be cool if you could view and edit hab modules of all habs in that "layer"/floor (where all other layers/floors + top half of the habs in the current layer becomes invisible), this would also give us an easy way to alter door placement, as they could just turn it into an hab module, or have it enabled by default unless there's an module there. Edit 2: The current hab types, like workshop, all in one, armory, infirmary, and so on, Could simply be turned into named pre-furnished empty hab bundles/kits with pre-installed hab modules.

I'd like to be lazy and needy and want a 1x1 bathroom hab with bathrooms on all sides. My layout doesn't typically have bathroom access close to the bridge or work stations and a 1x1 option would add to the immersion. Maybe someone will make a mod where the crew will "use" the head as well as be assignable to beds and work stations.
