Ennio Morricone was a total genius
The best music ever. Nostalgia How beautiful the days were and everything from music to sports. Movies. Simplicity and pleasure are the best time from the sixties to the nineties
when i was a child ( 90s) we didnt have many videos. but we had the dollars trillogy.... ive lost count of how many times i have seen them.... all thorugh my childhood i hoped other kids would get into them but it wasnt their interests. lucky now as an adult i can meet people online who appreciate these classics.

Saw them when they... Came out,,, Played hooky from bls... Scarcely, ' Rouke with long Hair + mee. We would meet @ the greenline in Beantown. When we all ,,,so each other___ we agreed 2 forge fake notes 4 each other. A good CON Spiracy********* Tesla 9 The RV guy.

Je n’en ai que 15, et pourtant simplement regarder un western me fait des sensations qu’aucun autre genre n’arrive à me donner, et les musiques sont tout simplement un délice

If it sounds like Morricone then it's a western movie soundtrack. He invented a genre, a brand, a sound.
Once upon a time in the West is just beautiful, that piano just sums up the hard romance of the Wild West. None of us will ever get to live in that age, we missed it, riding horseback with a gun on your hip across the land without a clue of what’s going to happen.

Many of a person fought hard to just eek out another day on the open range land. We often romanticize these distant era, but isn't that life. We will never forget the musical picture created by this master of sound... Many thanks and love to these genius artists.

You would be surprised red dead redemption 2 is a big game while the soundtrack doesn't touch Ennio's talent but given there hasn't been that type of western composer talent since.. the new generations are pretty exposed to spaghetti western sounding music...
I was 12 years old when I watched the good , the bad and the ugly in a small black and white RCA tv back in El Salvador , to this day once a while take my dvd of the box and watch it again .

This music evokes a simple, natural, human type of experience, with a flavor, or "favor" of divinity. I can imagine an even better version of it playing softly in the background of some of the New Testament.
RIP Morricone. What a talent, what a director/composer combination.

Ayer fui a ver el estreno del documental " Ennio " y fue impresionante, una Obra Maestra con todas las letras. No se puede expresar con palabras como me sentí, lloré al menos 3 veces porque es imposible no emocionarse viendo hablar a Morricone, el pobre casi llora en 3 ocasiones, imposible no emocionarse escuchando su música que es única. Y doy gracias a mi padre que era músico y yo también, por darme una educación musical y desde bien pequeña darme la oportunidad de conocer a todos estos genios. Sin duda, Ennio es mi compositor favorito y pasará a la historia de la música al igual que Mozart y Beethoven. Fue un incomprendido y despreciado por su profesor y compañeros del Conservatorio, por dedicarse a la música de cine y experimental, por innovar, por ser rompedor e innovador. Le decían que eso era prostituirse, que no era música culta. Nominado al Oscar 5 veces, no se llevó ninguno, sólo el Honorífico y los odiosos 8 de Quentin Tarantino. Fue un hombre acomplejado y atormentado con complejo de inferioridad, y por supuesto envidiado e imitado. Hoy día muchos grupos modernos utilizan motivos o pequeñas melodías en sus canciones con arreglos modernos. A todo el mundo le gusta Ennio. Sólo fue feliz y descansó al final de su vida. Con más de 500 partituras escritas, fue niño prodigio y empezó tocando la trompeta. Te amo y te doy las gracias por el legado tan maravilloso y único que nos has dejado. Me quedo sobre todo con tu sensibilidad, emotividad, el genio para sacar lo mejor de cada película, tu visión de romper las normas establecidas y evolucionar, atreverte a componer estas obras maravillosas, ser un vanguardista. Siempre estarás en mi corazón ❤️ Descansa en paz MAESTRO, eres inmortal.

When I was a child we saw this at the Bankhead drive in at Bolton GA and Fulton industrial in Atlanta Georgia, and it's no longer there,but we covered up in the back seat with a blanket us 3 kids,and although my mom and sis weren't too impressed,the music was ingrained, and embedded within my psche',and indelibly remain to this day! So yes good there are others who appreciate this masterpiece!

Ennio Morricone is Innovative for his Time, totally different from the Old West Songs of the 50s: he mixed touches of Rock, Jazz, Mexican Music, Classical Music and additional sounds with Exotic Instruments and Specific Objects, in addition to the already Traditional and Striking Whistles. This man created a New Musical Genre that was later vastly imitated and influenced dozens of Composers in the Future. King of Western Music.
