Mi sforzo di trovare di meglio, di non commuovermi, di non provare a non risentirlo more and more times, ma questo film e sopratutto questa musica è immortale, mi fa sognare. Per capire quanto è bello basta rileggere il colloquio finale tra Jack Beauregard e Nessuno "Perché vuoi farmi diventare un eroe?. Ma lo sei già. Ti manca solo un gran finale, ti manca l'impresa da leggenda. Quello che non riesco a capire è perche a te interessa tanto. "Un uomo che è un uomo deve pur credere in qualcosa". "Nella vita ho incontrato di tutto, ladri, assassini, preti e preti spretati, ricattatori, ruffiani, perfino qualche uomo onesto, ma uomini soltanto mai. Proprio di quelli parlo: non si incontrano quasi mai, ma sono gli unici che contano".

In France, in the countryside I live. I work a lot in my vegetable garden. The birds are singing all the time now. One bird exagerates with all kinds of sounds. I think it is a nightingale. For three days now I have a tune in my head. I started to hum it, even to whissle it. I knew it was 'westernlike' and after some research found it. 'My name is Nobody', the main theme of the film. I found Ennio's music by accident - trying to stream The Good The Bad and The Ugly. I watched the orchestra play the song and I was s h o c k e d!!!! Magnificent. The female whistler is amazing. EVERYONE IS AMAZING. He's on my phone now. Listen everyday, all night. I turn him on at night and songs play back to back. Soooo beautiful. zzzzzz

I used to like the movie when I saw it for the first time many years ago, however I don't think it's a too good film. But the music of Morricone saves it.

LOL. I don't know how many times I have watched this one. Its probably Henry Fonda's best performance. The storyline, plus Morricone's music scores, just makes it impossible to stop once the film starts rolling.

For a long time now, I’ve considered this man my favorite person in the movies, beyond any actor or director. I suppose this speaks to the power of music. Morricone was one of a kind.

actually, it kinda is too late, dude.

I watched this movie so many times, it is a very simple trama but at the same time very profound and real. Love it because: - it depicts the end of an era both for the movie makers (Sergio Leone still filming the most important scenes whereas credits are for Tonino Valerii mainly) and the public become more and more commercial (the fake duel scene in which there is an annoying journalist feeling the urgency to picture and share it); - but Ennio's music still plays a huge role, melodies here are beautiful and powerful. I fell the entire OST being even more complete and surrounding than those of the other Leone's movies, very holy and solemn
