Haven't tried faction warfare due to the fear of messing up standings but everyone seems to be raving over the new system. Might have to spool up an alt for this.

FW in EVE Online was some of the healthiest pvp i've played in any game. Which is why I was so disappointed with EVE Echoes. I'm not sure I like the sound of all the changes though. Plexes being in frontline systems only seems kind of bad if you want to go to a quiet system where you're more likely to find the occasional 1v1, or want to avoid gangs and hotter local. Having more limitations to what ships can enter plexes sounds good though. As long as there's enough plexes to go around. Here's a couple tips I used to find really useful: -Have your d-scan hotkey'd and spam it when your sitting in a plex. You can lower the radius to see when someone is outside your plex. Be ready to jump out if it's a fight you can't take. -deploy a mobile depot in a safe in the system you want to plex in, if you get a kill, drop the loot off in the mobile depot. That way if you lose your ship, you can fly back to the depot later and take your loot home. Also useful for stashing ammo and nanite paste. Or even swapping your fitting if you need nanofibers to get through potential gatecamps.

Certainly the most accessible!

Had a funny moment when caldari got together to gate camp with a vargura. Alot of small ships swarming the vargua and running tackle for it. Then 3 battleships came through one being a panther and the vargura just got deleted instantly lol

I've been meaning to join Faction Warfare for a long time now.. would have joined already if not for illness and corp plans.. just need to decide which faction I don't mind hating me... aside from Gallente... pretty sure babies would yell at for that particular choice :P

The biggest Problem is the standing loss. I don't want to go to blow some ships up (mostly mine) and lose so much standing on the other faction. :|

Did you say 5 AU on dscan to see people at the gate? That seems way too high. I have mine set at .1 while in a site.

Yeah, dumb comment from me - 5AU will work, but 1.0 is plenty.

I'm curious about reputations with factional warfare. Will your reputation decrease with all the other 3 from the one your choose and what happens to it when you decide to stop being in Warfare? Would you have to reconstruct all reputations back up?

No, just the opposite one. ie you lose Amarr rep if you fly Minmatar. Yes, you can repair that reputation by doing things like the Career Agent Missions.

This gives an excellent overview into Factional Warfare But as with all other FW tutorials it still didn't show me how I can actually get active, like, where do I go and what do I do once I'm there, how do I find the battle sites, etc. 🙈

Once you sign up you’ll get a faction chat, and so far I’ve found that is the easiest way to find content. Just ask around and see where the hot spots are, what part of the frontline people are in, etc.

Yeaaah... Still dont like pvp in this game 😅, but im glad there are other things to do.

I might be wrong but I don't think you gain or lose faction standing just killing other fw targets. Just for taking the missions from the agents.

You lose and gain reputation whenever you capture objectives etc and since that's how you get the LP, it will be happening frequently.

Gallente will never stand a chance as long as Jitta exists and it’s a shame

14:35 A very important point you totolly missed here: you are NOT in the proper station to spend your militia LP. (you did not enlist for the Federal intelligence Office!), for one, so your FW LP are not available for that corp. And two: militia LP stores (in your case with Gallente it's Federal Defense Union) have more items than non FW corp (for example, the items you need for the advantage system, faction drones, the new exploration navy ship and navy destroyer, etc.), and many items that they share are MUCH cheaper on the militia LP store than on the regular corp LP store. Navy ships for example, you have to be ignorant (like being misled by someone on KZread), brain dead or simply the worst at taking economic decisions (willingfully or not, but you may consider a job with the governement, they will have no issue with that) if you buy them in a non FW corp LP store. Like 80k LP for a Hookbill (~80mil ISK worth of LP) in a Caldari non FW corp, vs 10k LP for a Hookbill in a State Protectorate LP store (~10mill ISK worth of LP). Considering you can buy a Hookbill for ~10-11mil ISK in Jita, it is easy to understand that the Hookbills found in Jita market come from the State Protectorate LP store, NOT from the Caldari Navy LP store. I know you said you didn't want to tell people what to buy, but still, the difference is such a big deal you have to talk about it. Sorry for my language

game is too complex and very less details explained in anyt yt video , all yt videos only people who already playing can understand , its not for new players ... new players are equal to illiterates that is like you starting with abcd ,,, no one teach in depth step by step , this video was nice u showed which tab to press where to look for faction warfare tab and stuff ,,, good video keept it up , pls make more videos on faction step by step for new players ....

Exactly this. You win by reducing your enemy to 0 HP whilst keeping yours above 0 HP. Easy.
